This place was great for getting into Lancaster. It was clean, comfortable and had a lovely breakfast. The only thing was, the double bed could have been a bit bigger.

Perfect
Highly functional room with everything perfectly placed and all the amenities you would ever want to make for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The breakfast was lovely - highly varied with an amazing selection of gorgeous cheeses and meats, cereals, fruit, waffles, pastries etc plus the usual hot food selection. Tiny downside - I would have liked more veggie offerings.

A comfortable stay and good value for money.
We planned to visit the Lakes, but chose to stay in Lancaster and travel in because of the facilities and value for money. The swimming pool and spa was the main selling point. We all enjoyed the swimming pool but unfortunately the spa hot tub was not working. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom looked new and clean, except for the old shower hose which had exposed plastic flex and black spots of mould. These are very cheap and easy to replace. The breakfast was good and staff very helpful although at times they were slow to replenish items. Overall, a very pleasant stay with only a few small shortcomings.

The family room was absolutely enormous for the 3 of us. Breakfast was quite chaotic with no cups or glasses, things having ran out plus the coffee machines not working. Also the pool was closed for maintenance and this was our main reason for choosing this hotel. We were given a free late checkout which was helpful

Ok for a night’s stay
Reasonable hotel for a one night stay. Room & shower room / WC were ok, bed was comfortable. Not sure that AC worked to warm the room but there was a plug in electric radiator which was effective. Very good choice of room service food, which came quickly and was good. Breakfast not so good - no fried eggs in the buffet & scrambled egg was ‘solid’ & cold but bacon, sausage & tomatoes were ok. Plenty of free car parking.

Offered other option for swimming across the road as the pool was under maintenance . Once we got there we were not welcome at all due to swimming lessons being on. Wanted to charge £6.50 to use the locker. Poor customer service.

Air con incident
Was arranged a room with air conditioning break down when arrived on evening time after check-in at pm. Called recipientist to support but said no other room available and the best to do was to provide a fan for ventilation. After 10 mins discussion, recipient came to the room to try to fix it but not successful still. And, finally, able to look for another room to swap but already wasted me almost an hour time to get this resolved. This was annoyed with me and my family to enjoy the short holiday mood.
