I recently had an unfortunate experience at what can only be described as one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this place was a disaster. First off, the parking lot was crawling with cockroaches, which led me to worry about what I might find inside. Unfortunately, my fears were confirmed as I encountered more bugs in my room. The smell of cigarettes permeated the air, making it feel anything but welcoming. The room itself was appalling. There was no deadbolt on the door, leaving me feeling unsafe. Hair was everywhere, indicating that it hadn't been cleaned properly—if at all. The room looked nothing like the renovated photos posted online, which felt misleading and deceptive. The bathroom was the worst part. The shower was absolutely filthy, perhaps the dirtiest I’ve encountered in all my travels. To make matters worse, the sink was broken, and there appeared to be blood on the wall—something that’s utterly unacceptable in any accommodation. As if that wasn't enough, the room wasn’t level, and the drawer to the TV stand kept opening on its own throughout the night, adding to the overall discomfort. The service was lackluster at best; the staff merely checked me in without offering any directions or assistance, which is typically standard at most hotels. Overall, my stay was a nightmare, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s a sad excuse for a place to rest your head, and I left feeling more exhausted.

Not worth it
When booking your room online they don’t state that there is a CASH deposit. When questioned the gal said it does not state this on third party websites, but on our website it does state the deposit. Which how am I suppose to know the deposit amount if not stated. I would have been more prepared. The office was clean, the room however. When walking in there were bugs running around. We had to make sure non of our items were on the floor. Then we started seeing the on the walls. So then we had to make sure non of our items were agents a wall. Beds were decent. Bathroom needs work. Cosmetically but it was ok. The lock on the door was a simple chain lock you can find on apartment doors. While it took me by surprise it was fine. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend people stay here. I would pay up for a hotel to ensure there were no bugs. I can handle cosmetic stuff, the bugs is a completely different story.

When I checked into the hotel. The staff said that I had not paid yet, and that I would need to pay. I paid again and checked with my credit card company that I had paid when making the reservation. I contacted expedia support and the representative was able to resolve the issue and as of October 19th my credit card account shows a pending reimbursement of the amount

We set our belongings down, on the table. After a long car trip, I went to use the restroom. Turned the light on and cockroaches were crawling out of the drain and in the counter. I took photos for the staff. We did not stay. We took our things and left. The desk staff was really kind about it. And apologetic. Said he would be calling his boss.

I was unhappy with my experience at Red Roof Inn and ended up seeking accommodations elsewhere. The pictures on the listing do not reflect what I actually experienced in person. - There is a $60 Cash Only deposit that was not mentioned in the booking. I ended up having to walk across the street to use the gas station ATM in order for me to check into the room. - Room 144 was infested with lots of bugs. Upon entering the room, we saw lots of tiny cockroaches scurrying away from the light. Entering further into the room, we also saw more bugs crawling out of cracks in the moulding. All walls had bugs on them. - We brought our concerns to the front desk who changed our room. We were given Room 146, which is right next door to our originaly room. Arguably, the bugs were much worse in this room. Additionally, there were stains in the bath tub. Also, the property was advertised as a smoke-free lodging. However, the rooms smelled strongly of smoke and the comforter in Room 146 had cigarette burns. - My group decided that we no longer wanted to stay at this property and cancelled our stay. All in all - you get what you pay for. This property may be cheap for the budget, but ultimately it was not worth it. Refer to the user-uploaded photos for a more accurate depiction of the property; the official property photos on this website are deceptive.

I have stayed in several motels/hotels but this one i felt on safe. We were there a few hours because it was dirty, you can hear people outdide your room. I beleive a lot of homeless stayed there. When we were checking in we were charged $60 for deposit. My fiance had to go look for an ATM because they only take cash. We did not know we had to pay extra. Also the bed sheets were dirty. I threw them to the floor. We were there about 4 hours and we had to leave just felt dirty and unsafe.

The cleanliness was okay, it smelled bad when you walked in the room. There were dripping faucets in tube. The thing that bothered me the most was that they required a $60 dollar cash deposit after my card was already charged through the website. Overall the stay was okay for what I needed it for, but i will not be returning, it was cheap room and you get what you pay for.

Pedí toallas para bañar en la recepción y nunca las llevaron, el area de fumar muy en mal estado los pisos cortinas baños, pedí cambio de cuarto y sii me lo cambiaron a uno de no fumar y estuvo mejor,, afuera del hotel muy sucio, las cortinas de unos cuartos vi q estaban en muy mal estado, quise salir de ahí mejor, pero a final de cuentas ya me quedé ahí
