The property offers an unique setting in which you stay in onl refurbished colonial houses. They indeed look good. But there are a lot of shortcomings. Everything is screeky and full of spots good for mice to get in. Also it's poorly insulated meaning if you start air conditioning it all goes. Which is fine but they leave the aircon on all..time. The houses are extravagantly furnished... Like one had a mosquito net around the bed, which would not close at all, making it useless beyond the decoration. We were offered to use one of the electric mosquito killer that you put those tablets in, which are not good when you have a child. We had to upgrade to another room. This one was weird too. It had a living room without windows with European style fabric sofas, was hotter than anything in the universe. Again just for decoration. It felt like everything was just a huge show and confort was very little.
Staff was always busy chatting between themselves like in a office. We arrived no one helped me. Then they wanted to do a self checkout. Somehow by putting a picture of all passports together while keeping them open. I asked the employee to check me in and he wasn't pleased!
At night everything was noisy. They provide earplugs in every bed. Which is not a good prospect. And not practicable when you have kids. At night was full of frogs, airplanes and the house was noisy.
You will also need to use taxis to get to the beach. Not safe to walk. I don't recommend this place at all.
