The Cottage at Helton Creek offers all comfort of modern amenities in a mountain getaway! The Cottage is nestled on 80 acres and was built around 1920 and completely remodeled in 2021. With four bedrooms, two bathrooms, ample parking, a vast yard, access to several ponds, and Helton Creek, the entire family can get away in the mountains. This home is just a short drive from the famous New River, Grayson Highlands State Park, small-town West Jefferson, and the Virginia Creeper Trail.

If you’re looking for a mountain getaway this place is for you! Minutes from Grayson Highlands State Park, Lansing, and West Jefferson. Helton Creek and two stocked ponds for catch and release fishing on site. Over 80 acres of working Christmas tree farm to explore!

As you pull into the driveway, you will notice a charming front porch with ample seating to drink your morning coffee and take in the serenity of our home. When parking, you will see a back patio with an outdoor dining table and a gas grill for your cooking needs. To the right of the home, we have a relaxing fire pit area. Please bring your own or request firewood before your stay.

When walking into our home, you will notice our living room with brand new furniture, a pull-out queen sleeper sofa, and a new 65 inch TV complete with fiber optic internet and a Roku. To the left of the living room is a full bathroom.

Walking straight through the living room, you will find the dining room complete with a six-person dining table and coffee bar, access to the back patio, the kitchen, and the laundry room.

The fully stocked kitchen is complete with brand new appliances and everything you need to cook family dinners.

To the right of the living room, you will find the stairs and the master bedroom, complete with a king bed and full bathroom.

Upstairs you will find two king bedrooms, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a sitting area with a queen sleeper sofa and Roku TV.

*Note: Due to the home’s age, both bathrooms are on the main level.
