The property is set in a nice surroundings but the rooms are very basic with hard beds no aircon and a very small window with a fan that blows the hot air around the breakfast is ok but had to wait ages for it

A little italian paradise
It was an amazing surprise to find this little paradise on the moutainside. It was a little difficult to find it, and the roads were steep and narrow, but when we arrived, we were met with extraordinary service and kindness. We came late and the kitchen was closed - but they reopened and inprovised a great meal and tasty wine for us which we enjoyed at the lovely terrasse. The room was modest but charming, and we intend to come back.

Quaint hotel in the mountains
It's quite the drive getting to the hotel, but it's in a beautiful area. The lady who runs the hotel speaks pretty good English and was very accommodating. The dinner was very very good. Breakfast was okay.

Close to Lugano. Owned and run by the family. Wonderful food and service. You must go there.

Exceptional view on the mountains
Family of 4, one night. The region is beautiful, mountain and forest all around. Nice villages around and plenty of hiking paths. The balcony of Italy breathtaking view nearby. The hotel terrace and garden are appreciated during summer time but the room we got needs refurbishing, at least the beds. It was also without a view, just a high small window, even fresh air could barely enter. The staff is very nice, specially the lady in charge, very helpful, caring and professional. She makes all the difference...

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das ist aber Ich leider das einzig positive was wir über die Unterkunft sagen können. Wir hätten ein Zimmer für 4 Personen (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder, ein Kleinkind) gebucht. Das Zimmer war dreckig (Haare in der Toilette, in der Dusche und auf den Handtüchern). Das Doppelbett bestand aus einem Metallgestell auf dem als Lattenrost (alte) Holzlatten zusammengenagelt wurden. Die Matratze war alt und mehr als durchgelegen. Das Zimmer hatte ein kleine ( ca. 60x30 cm) Fenster durch das nahezu kein Licht kam. An den Holzbalken der Decke (alles in dunkel gehalten) hingen die Spinnenweben. Zu den Haaren in der Dusche sah diese entsprechen schmutzig und heruntergekommen aus. Die Anfahrt ist entsprechend der Lage nicht ganz einfach aber für italienische Verhältnisse ok. Die Anlage an sich wirkt ungepflegt. Das Frühstück ist ok. Das einzige was den Aufenthalt wirklich ertragbar gemacht hat war die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Wir waren 2 x eine Nacht zur Durchreise dort. Werden aber bestimmt nicht wieder kommen.

Notre séjour a été très agréable. Le propriétaire était attentif à ce que nous ne manquions de rien durant les repas que nous avons pris à l'hôtel, et la chambre était très confortable. Du balcon de la chambre, nous avons bénéficié d'un panorama splendide des montagnes environnantes.

Angenehm überrascht - für Feinschmecker !
Die Wirtin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie spricht fließend Deutsch, Englisch und Franzoesich. Das Doppelzimmer ist klein aber sauber gewesen. Das Familienzimmer hat ziemlich nach verstopften Abfluss gerochen. Durchs Fenster konnte man nicht sehen, da es zu hoch ist. Es ist direkt unter dem Dach. Andererseits ist ein Pool auf dem Bild im Internet zu sehen aber es ist gar nicht im Hotel. Das verwirrt. Sonst ist das Restaurant angebot sehr gehoben und es schmeckt sehr gut. Die Anfahrt ist nicht so einfach und vor allem Ding nicht so gut geschildert. Ohne Navi nicht zu finden. Liegt abseits aber sehr schön - besonders für Wanderer oder Biker geeignet !

Hotel is in really hard location to drive, tiny dangerous mountain road and the last road to the hotel is filled with huge holes. Would think that after all this there would be amazing views, but nope. You see forest and undone bushes around you and somewhere in the horizont there is mountains. But no view to the lake lugano that is next to the mountain. Then the room...shower was dirty looking, since we only stayed 2 nights, I decided not to shower. Bed and the pillows were hard as rocks and the room was cold. Only good thing was the service, lovely people running the hotel and they all were really nice!

Una struttura semplice, ordinata in bella posizion
Albergo a circa 2 km dal centro del paese, con un bel dehors, struttura semplice, senza pretese ma meglio di altre 3* della zona. Con ristorante complessivamente buono, adeguato. Conduzione famigliare, cortesi e accoglienti.
