This is never a 5 star hotel.
Our experience was not good. Despite booking a King size bed we found we were given two double beds. No King size beds available. The restaurants were snack bars and cafes. No bars, evening drinks in the main cafe only. Most of the food items we tried to order ‘were out of stock, Sir’. We tried all the restaurants Kilamanjaro, Fiji Japanese and Route 66 diner. All the food was very average but had 5 star prices. Food just about OK. Breakfast for me was eggs and omelette on toast every morning because the Mexican breakfast, Chinese breakfast then next day Italian breakfast were honestly terrible. Would have been nice for a proper international buffet? All the staff were polite and friendly but they had no authority to make simple decisions….just sorry Sir. We tried to get our late check out that we requested on check in, sadly they told us sorry the hotel is busy we can’t do that? When I spoke with the duty manager he just told me he was very sorry but we could extend for a few extra hours with a Php 3000pesos plus fee? No thanks ..everything seemed too much trouble. I can’t understand why this hotel has a five star rating? When I asked the check out staff they told me it was the owner that gave it that rating. If this was given truthfully an average 3 star rating it would be correct. It wouldn’t ever achieve a 5 star hotel from a International auditor. Don’t waste your holiday or money booking here…try one of the main named 5 star hotels. Check out the other poor reviews?
