Well check in was a little difficult being that I'm handicap and I can barely stand up for long it took a lot to get any help and when greeted at the front desk the staff just the smile they don't look very happy.

Frontdesk was the worst of all. None of the staff welcomed me and even the one with the rasta hair started to sing a song loudly and told me to “go wait there until Rose makes your room”. I did not know who the hell is the Rose is but 15 minutes later he called me with a finger gesture and did checked me in. Rest was not bad and not the best at all. An average otel.

We were in town for the Dead & Company residency at the Sphere and enjoyed that Ellis Island was affordable and within walking distance (after the show... too hot beforehand). The staff was friendly and the room was clean. No frills and good value for the money!
