The staff members were friendly and helpful. The room was disappointing. For the first few days, there was a smell, of what appeared to be mildew, which made it difficult to enjoy the room. However, when we finally turned on the air conditioner, it dissipated.

Would definitely recommend this hotel. The room was a good size considering we were in Paris, it was spotlessly clean, the staff were very helpful and it was in a perfect location! Hope to be back one day.

We loved our stay at HLLB - check-in was easy, the rooms and decor are so pretty/cute (Alice In Wonderland themed, if you couldn't tell by the name), and the rooms are quite sizeable compared to what I've seen in Paris. There was a miscommunication with one request we had made about our room but the staff handled it well and were super friendly. The location is amazing, right near the park. Our only regret was that we had only one night here. Would def recommend and book again!

Having told reception that U did not want the room done after one night sleeping there, this was not passed on to the cleaners and when I got back from my outing, I found my door unlocked and the lights on. I was furious as my stay there was very expensive and their lack of security was below normal. Told them and she asked what I wanted. Take a day if my hotel bill I said which was denied straight away. Another breakfast, No Way. All U got was apologies and that was that. I thought there are regulations for security and it may have been a one-off, but it had left a bad taste in my mouth.

Wonderful People at Front Desk
I traveled by myself, so I was very happy that the front-desk people were all so friendly and helpful. They greeted me cheerily every day and even made an ice pack for me when I had an injury. The hotel is also in a great location. It is bright and clean, with very comfortable beds. I strongly recommend this hotel!

Very cool place! Excellent area with tons of cool places walking distance. Size of the room (considering Paris sizes) was very good. We will recommend the breakfast buffet. Only “comment” on some of the room conditions (water leak on the tab, AC was not working properly, lamps out of socket, etc) but as we were never in the room this did not affect us. Staff was very nice.

Great location and value for money - the room was quite tired and the bed sheets did have a few hairs so knocked off a couple of stars for cleanliness. The macarons on arrival were a lovely touch!

We really enjoyed our stay! We reserved a double room but were upgraded to a junior suite and it was huge. The service was excellent. We had delicious complimentary macarons in our room upon arrival. The decor was nice. There were plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The best part was the sightseeing in the area. We walked to Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens and the Pantheon. The train station was close by. We walked around the area quite a bit and visited Luxembourg Gardens 3 times. The Gardens are a must see! So beautiful. The room was great and I wish we stayed longer.
