Very nice apartment, a bit pricy I felt. Such genuine hosts, they went an extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. The laundry machine is a mystery, especially if you are used to the big/fast ones in the US. The host went out of the way to help us by offering other options. Just that one act left such an incredible impression. Will return for sure.

Nice and quiet. Beautiful scenery. Beds are a little firm. Might want to make a note for guests of toll off of 1 and how to avoid it. Very clean with all the essentials! Laundry, kitchen with various appliances, shampoo, etc…

We spent two nights here and it was the most comfortable stay we had in Iceland - plenty of space, wonderful light, great amenities (like the washer/dryer) and very well located. From here, we explored the Lake Mývatn area and went to Húsavík for a late night whale and puffin watching tour. It felt like a home away from home!

Great place to stay if you are traveling in the Mývatn or Húsavík area! Apartment is very clean and has a kitchen with all of your cooking needs. Plenty of room for 3-4 people. The sofa couch was comfortable. The owner has a dog that is very friendly and will greet you upon your arrival which is an extra plus!

Cosy sized apartment for a group of 6!
Property was located on the first floor of the building, so we needed to carry all our cases up the stairs, be mindful if you have a lot of bags to carry up. Apartment was cosy sized but not quite enough room for a party of 6 with all the bags. Instructions were clearly displayed on the kitchen wall. Location was remote (in the middle of fields) but this is great for Northern Lights watching and peaceful.

Such a nice place! This would be a great place to stay for a few days and explore areas in all directions. Large area with a great kitchen. There was a laundry area which I didn’t use but nice to have available. Very quiet. Would recommend! Look for the building with the swing in front. The color seemed different than in the photo. Restaurant and small grocery store close by.

Apartment was comfortable with all new fixtures and furnishings, we visited in winter so the heated flooring was very welcome. Note that the easy chair in the photo was not there.

This was by far our favorite place to stay in all of Iceland! Everything was incredibly clean and well appointed. We had everything we could possibly need and having nice big fluffy towels and a washer and dryer was so nice. The only think that would have been nice would have been to have some chairs for relaxing on the patio, but really this place had everything else you could imagine. We really enjoyed our two nights here!

A place to return to
Wonderful place. Lots of space for 2 people (we stayed in apartment 12). Good quality furnishings, comfy bed, well equipped little kitchen. Plenty of charging points. Warm inside but radiators could be controlled. Hot shower. Saw northern lights from the door. Off street parking right by property. V easy check in / out. One of the best self catering places I’ve stayed in Iceland (4th trip to Iceland)

Beautiful, cozy and lovely place! The decor is has great welcoming touches like monogrammed towels, chocolate upon arrival and a towel warming rack in the bathroom. Our unit had 2 twin beds and a pullout sofa, kitchenette. Quiet, farm surroundings. We arrived very late and it was so nice to be able to pull up and go right into our unit. One note: be careful not to let the flies in! They hang out right at the main doorway. Several got into our unit, so I was up all night trying to swat them (they're very fast). My 4 year old was wide awake with me. We didn't get any sleep, but still had a lovely stay- it was spotlessly clean. There are no mosquitos in Iceland, but you can't help flies. We learned quickly to not make that mistake again at our next stops!

Very clean. Everything you need if you want to cook is available like olive oil, salt and pepper, pots, pans, bowls. We were grateful of the chocolate as welcome gift. The kids enjoyed playing with the owner’s dogs.

The best place we stayed in Iceland!!!!
Wow.The perfect 10 is not good enough for this place. The apartment in this farm is clean, spacious. The kitchen is very well-equipped. The bathroom is HUGE. We are very comfortable for the entire stay. The owner is very kind and he shows us his farm and milking cows. We learn a lot about Iceland farming. Thank you.
