Arguably the best position in Launceston opposite the beautiful City Park, Ellie's Place is a 2 storey Victorian (C1890) residence with 2 living areas, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a study.
A lovely backyard and Off street parking.- or take the free Tiger bus which pulls up opposite to explore the City.

An ideal place for those wanting that special time away- perfect for romantic getaways or for families wanting a great base from which to explore Northern Tasmania.
The home is fully renovated and furnished in keeping with the period but includes all the modern amenities you could wish for.

The Cataract Gorge -Launceston's most popular tourist attraction is an easy 2.5km walk

Launceston is easy to explore. You can walk the elegant streetscapes and through century-old parks, which sit beside revitalised areas such as Launceston Seaport, with its waterfront eateries.
A boardwalk links the Seaport to Inveresk, where you can visit one of Australia's best regional galleries, the Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk.
The boardwalk also takes you to Home Point rowing course, passing Ritchies Mill, with its galleries and restaurants. Continue along the zig-zagging path into Cataract Gorge, a place of mystical beauty. Its steep, rugged cliffs and wild areas attract rock climbers and a chairlift allows all to enjoy the panoramic views.

Location of property was perfect. A few minor maintenance issues that can be easily fixed. Owner has been notified. These did not detract from our four day stay.

A delightful cottage very well situated and equipped. Our group of five over 60’s ladies loved our short time at Ellie’s and I certainly would stay again when in the area, plus recommend to friends. Thank you to our host.

Perfect location for getting to arts, music, cafes and restaurants.
Four friends had a great time renting this property. It was clean and comfortable and we had a pleasant walk through the park next door and along the esplanade into town for coffee and lunch. We visited the museum and art gallery as well as going to a TSO concert at nearby Woolmers Estate.

Everything was very good. The owners obviously undertake their own maintenance and cleaning of the property as it was to a very high standard. The only thing I would mention is to place a lock on the bathroom doors as we visited with one non-family member child.
