In the heart of the historic village of Fougères sur Bièvre, very close to the castle open to visitors.
Shops: bar, tobacco shop, restaurant, grocery store with local fruits and vegetables (goat cheese, strawberries and Sologne asparagus) and also a good bakery for bread and morning croissants.
THE ENVIRONMENT
You are ideally placed to
• discover the cultural riches of the region including the Château de Fougères, 15 km from the castles of Cheverny and Chaumont sur Loire and 30 km from the Beauval Zoo or the Château de Chambord.
• explore the region by bike as several cycle tourism routes pass by the garden gate with bike rental nearby.
• take a balloon ride to fly over the castles, unless you prefer to contemplate from the garden the passage of these large balloons above the house.
