What is advertised on social media is not what you get. The rooms are smaller than expected, there was this weird smell, the city view is of old worn down buildings, the lagoon view is of a very dirty and trashy water, which I’m guessing is sue to pollution and not the hotel per se. We called 3 times for an iron which was supposed to be in the room but they didnt have any until someone from housekeeping came and told us the maximum was only 2 items for free per room.
The drinks very good, however the food selection at the poolside bar was very limited and not so good. After the 2nd time we started going out to eat or order in the yango app.
Twice we saw roaches in the hallway and there is always this weird smell when you get off the elevator.
The view of the city is amazing at night both from the poolside area and the 21 st floor.
For our last night we ate at the Asian restaurant on the top floor, Ayoko and everything we chose on the menu was delicious and quite affordable.
Also, the staff from reception to restaurants were all very friendly and helpful especially Steve and Manath from the 7th floor and Ibrahim on the 21st floor.
Overall, it was a good experience but it’s just that my expectations were a little too high especially for over $200 dollars a night.
