Front desk lady was amazing! Warm, friendly and helpful. Shower had no pressure whatsoever. Just dribbles on you. Room had an old, unpleasant smell until you got used to it. Pillows were chunks of concrete with pillow cases on them. Wouldn't even bend. Overall the stay was adequate but likely won't stay there again.

The gal at check in was rude and condescending. For a hotel that size, the breakfast room has about 7 or 8 tables total and it's in the same area as check in. It's incredibly crowded, the selections are few.

Our stay was for two nights. The location is right in town which make walking to places perfect. I liked that I could park my car, parking on site is included, and not have to move it all weekend or pay for parking. The staff was amazing and the lady at the front concert was amazingly sweet. I would definitely say there again

Property was conveniently located within walking distance to all Leavenworth activities. Facilities were basic, but got the job done.

The staff was not very welcoming and really only did the very bare minimum during our entire stay. They say they are pet friendly but they treat dogs as a nuisance. In the room, the coffee maker would only work about half the time, supplies in the room like shampoo, towels, coffee pods were not replenished (and when we asked the front desk they told us we could just come up there to get more). The toilet was also faulty (you needed to open the back and replace the plunger manually after every flush). Otherwise the room was basic but fairly clean, but the treatment by the staff left a bad taste in our mouth. When we brought up the issues at checkout again, they brushed them off and didn’t really seem to care about the experience. If you go to Leavenworth, I’d consider this a last resort.

Traveling with a small dog usually means making concessions and settling for a lesser experience. I've come to expect that in my travels but this was not the case for Der Ritterhof. The aesthetic of the rooms, building and surrounding area is wonderful. The continental breakfast is a treat, and the service is welcoming, friendly and knowledgable of the businesses and things to do in the area. I hope we get a chance to visit again next year for Octoberfest!

The first key didn’t work, then the second key didn’t work, so we were switched to a new room. The water in shower was either ice cold or scolding hot enough to burn skin off of bones. I do not recommend using the shower if you want to keep your skin. The people were nice, but they need to address the maintenance issues.

The property is well kept and clean. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. We had a great visit and highly recommend the facility. It is an older property but well maintained. It's already done up for Christmas which was very whimsical and charming.
