Get Away
The pictures make the cabin look more luxurious than it was. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen and all of the linens provided. The description of the cabin needs to include that sleeping quarters are in a loft with very steep stairs. This was not safe for older people like us. The shower head did not work very well. There was a swivel chair on the deck that was broken. My husband sat it it and took quite a spill. The chair should be removed immediately as it is a hazard. The hot tub was very nice. All in all it was a satisfactory stay.

Speechless
We got there Friday afternoon, pulling in and seeing neighbors all around was disheartening. The pics on listing make it look like your in the woods by yourself. The hot tub was next to the driveway and front door. The only ac was in the loft and only blew warm air and it was hotter inside then out. It was 92 degrees inside so we slept in car with dog both nights. And the internet wouldn't work so no tv all weekend. Happy 18th wedding anniversary.

Great Neighborhood/Community, Location
Short weekend stay for 20yr Anniversary! Cute and Homey, Simple and Sweet! We had a great time, had all the basic needs - AC could use an upgrade (blew warm air)and curtains or blinds on windows would be a good addition, as well as a fan or 2. Property Manager came to secure garbage (bear proof), was great with communication, mentioned getting a curtain for front door =). The best part was Ponderosa community park/pool, with trails and river access - just a couple minutes drive and 10ish minute walk. Already talking about going back with the kiddos!

The pictures did not show that this was a cabin in the middle of a neighborhood. We had a few problems, but they were caused by our shortcomings.

Anniversary Trip
My partner and I stayed for our anniversary and we had a great time! The hot tub is amazing as well as the location because we were able to go to Lake Wenatchee. The only two problems we found were: the bed wasn’t super comfortable, and the tv is hard to manage. But everything else was perfect!😁

Last minute much-needed nature break
I fell in love with this cozy little A-frame. I decided to surprise my partner with a last-minute low-hassle weekend getaway into snow and trees as a way for us to decompress. This place delivered 100x over. We stayed in March after a couple of weeks without fresh snow on the mountain. There was snow along the sides of the roads the whole way there, but everything was well-plowed. Apparently the neighbor roads are plowed 2x daily in winter. We could have made the drive in a 2wd if needed. We arrived at night and despite our GPS not telling us we had arrived about a half mile before it was true, we had no issues finding or getting into the house. We unloaded the car and found plenty of space for our luggage and food without feeling cramped. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, dishware, utensils, paper towels, soap, etc., but I am glad we brought cooking oil. There were even a couple of ice trays for the many cocktails enjoyed on the deck. And what a deck! It faces out of the back of the house and is covered by trees. We bundled up and spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck reading the offered books, listening to the birds, and occassionally glimpsing the mountains as the trees swayed. We took a stroll though the snowy community paths that run through the neighborhood and eventually made our way down to the community's river beach. While small, it was well-worth the slight scramble it took to make it down and back up. I think there was an easier path alternative, but we had fun going the hard way. The neighbors were scarcely seen or heard, and when they were, they were distantly friendly, which is exactly what we were looking for. I can't forget the stars. We happened to have clear skies this weekend and we could see ALL of them! We took in the sky views from the hot tub and deck. There were plenty of towels and blankets, as well as heat and heated water. We never ran cold unless we were outside. My partner showed no mercy as he took me down playing with the supplied board games. The wifi was fast the few times we used it. This was exactly the restorative, nature escape that we needed. We will 100% be booking this place again in the future. Thank you for the lovely time!

Winter wonderland in an A-frame cabin.
It was a wonderful little A-frame cabin. We enjoyed having fires and relaxing in the hot tub. We had a few quick trips into Leavenworth but mostly went down to the river and kept it easy at the cabin.

Very quiet and relaxing
The property is cute and it was very clean. However I personally dont feel like this place is pet friendly. The place isnt fenced off so small dogs can easily fall off the hills or get lost. The stairs inside were so steep that dogs cant get up or down there. The stairs were so steep with no railing that we slept downstairs because we feared falling during the night when we have to use the bathroom. I suggest adding a railing. The site claims the river is a quick walk. You have to drive. Just felt like it was false advertising. We of course brought food and there were no oven mitts to take our food out of the oven. No oil or cooking spray to cook with. No wooden spoons. I stay in cabins several times a year and I've never seen a place that doesnt supply the basics. No baby gate like advertised. Would have loved that so our dogs would not climb down it ( which is another reason why we slept downstairs) no gate to keep my dogs from falling down the stairs. So again another false advertising. Only 2 outlets worked. Over half of them didnt work. The string lights outside half were burnt out. It caused inconveniences. It was a cute place but I wouldn't stay again due to all this. I would have messaged the owner to fix these concerns but it took them 6 days to even respond to a payment question weeks prior so didnt bother. So if you dont have dogs or kids this place is great for you. I dont have kids but I can tell you right now this isnt kid or dog friendly.

Cabin was clean and equipped, as advertised, with the necessities. The river access was a nice bonus. Overall, this was a great place to relax after a day of hiking but also close enough to town to visit shops in Leavenworth. Would recommend this property to others.

The cabin is the last at the end of the lane, which gives it a more private feel. The woodsy neighborhood is about 20 minutes from Leavenworth. Close enough to go into town but far away enough to take a break from the tourism.

Not recommend, cleanliness issue, not met CDC covid guideline !!!
The cabin is located far away from Leavenworth not as described on website. The beds are not clean at all. There are dust and pet hair everywhere on the bed. We book for two nights but ended up leaving the cabin. Now we are quarantine our family due to a big concern on the cleanliness we are exposing. The cabin is nice, please clean all sheets and bedding and the blankets before renting out. Please clean all pet hairs from the floor, carpets. Bed, sofa. It is not healthy. I am inprocess of subi Thank you. Teeya.

Awesome stay!
This was a great stay! The kids loved sleeping upstairs in the A-frame upper room. And they couldn't get enough of the hot tub. There is river access through the community association. There's a map on the side of road about a half mile on Camproad 12, on the right. I highly recommend taking a picture of it to find the river access points. The Cafe in Plain was also super good, so there's a tip for you.

We had a lovely stay here! Quiet and comfortable! Loved the hot tub and had a fire! Only thing is they could have cleaned the counters and table better they were sticky. And would have been nice of they provided coffee the closest store is pretty spendy on groceries so bring food with you or shop in Leavenworth. Other than that we have a AMAZING stay! 😍
