Basic Budget Busy
One of the more basic budget hotels I have stayed in. Car park ridiculously busy. Coach party unloading & cars everywhere, including grass verges leading to hotel. They offer parking for duration of holiday. I will not use again in high season. Car park massive but not a space to be seen. Long queue to check in so I grabbed a drink in the bar & looked at menu for evening meal. Very disappointed. They offer a buffet style selection for a fixed price. Things like pollock rather than haddock or cod, pie, ham etc. Several selections with same veg it appeared. Queue with plate like you would for a school dinner & or sunday roast to pick your pre-cooked food. Not for me!!! I went to local pub.

Bathroom tiny, very tired n tatty. Pre-booked breakfast to get in and the young girl allocating seats said due to wedding party we couldn’t sit together on a free table even though it was available just in case a wedding guest came down! We were offered two separate tables instead, though wanting to sit together as a family! Glad we left with a refund as breakfast didn’t look too appealing! Would not stay again!

Clean room but strange smell in bathroom (damp?) and not enough towels for 2 people (one bath and hand). Very busy but very few staff on. The whole place looks a little tired and in need of some tlc in rooms. The cat park was rammed and needed to park on a verge. Wouldn’t stay here again

We did not like the dining option for dinner - it was the buffet or nothing. My friend is gluten free so this did not suit. Also, we bought 2 drinks from the bar using Apple Pay but somehow the hotel made an unauthorized transaction on my friend’s credit card for AUD135 which we only noticed after we had checked out and has still not been resolved. The accommodation was prepaid so we are unsure how this was done. The hotel is close to the airport. Look elsewhere.

Bathroom had many pubic hairs in the bath, on the walls close to the bath. Truly revolting. Tried calling reception 3 times. No answer, so had to myself in order to have a shower. Food choice was very limited and very over priced. £17 for pie, over cooked / wet veg. Chips looked like they been there a long time. If you opted for roasts, they were over cooked / dried up and as hard as a golf ball. Expected better. Would never stay again.

Bramhope Brittania for town and country stays
The room was okay for my adult son and I. TV was well placed and had a fairly large screen. Beds were comfortable but squeaky. Nice soft towels in the bathroom. Bath and shower worked well. Breakfast too expensive , no light breakfast choice and times didn't suit us but the breakfast in Golden Acre park cafe is a good alternative. Hotel was convenient to visit family but it doesn't have the free facilities as it had in the past. Good bar menu. We'll priced drinks. A good atmosphere. Caters for coach parties.

It’s a good hot, not the fanciest and it is looking a little tired in places. Saying that the room facilities were spot on and most of all it was clean. It’s located within 5 mins of the Airport, so I would say it’s a good around hotel

Receptionist was amazing, friendly and very professional. Hotel is very clean, rooms also but could do with plug sockets near bed. Next door woke me at 2.30am playing tv extremely loud, put ear plugs in at 4.00am and managed to sleep unfortunately slept thru my alarm so then had mad rush to the airport, walls seem thin as could hear tvs on both sides.

Staff abrupt and unhelpful on arrival, another guest had to help me find the lifts. However the room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. In the countryside with a lovely local pub a short walk away, the Fox and Hounds just in the village where the staff were lovely and the beer good. Lots of outside seating at the hotel too, which is a pleasant find. Car park large and easy to park. I don't really see the need to charge extra for parking, given the location of the hotel, but this was made clear at booking, so not a huge problem. Overall, I would stay again.

Nice hotel albeit older and rooms very small . Beds thin and small and bathtub / bathroom small but overall nice. Great to have restaurant on the premises so could just stay right there and relax and have a nice dinner. Staff friendly and helpful . It was good for a short stay before flying out of Leeds
