"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The cabins are clean and efficient and we enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoons. The staff were very friendly to us non-French speaking folks. Our major disappointment was that, although a restaurant is on the premises, we found out when we checked in that it was already fully booked for dinner both nights of our stay. We were able to get reservations for breakfast; breakfast was adequate, but not outstanding. If would have been helpful if the Hotels.com app mentioned that reservations are recommended. The bed was very firm and somewhat uncomfortable for me, though my husband slept well."

"This is a very nice house, really well laid out with comfortable rooms, spaced apart with lots of bathrooms and great spaces for hanging out. The kitchen is well laid out, the outdoor area with pool is lovely with lots of great furniture and eating area. Claouey is a little drive from the Cap, but there is loads of great things there including market, supermarket, takeaway food options, gourmet delicatessen, etc. So you have everything you need, including a pretty beach if you want to hang out there. "Arrivée, pas top, un manque d'accueil pas de bonjour, juste.. vous avez réservé? Puis la directrice a pris les choses en mains et à comblé ce déficits très largement et je la remercie encore. Parking payant un peu trop en vrac pas tres pratique, peu d'ombre pas de marquages... Repas bon mais très simple, manque de choix d'accompagnement, viande tendre et bonne cuisson. Log top, clim , propre accessible, comfortable, terrase top. Merci"

"Valerie is a wonderful host, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The property is what we expected and the photographs accurately represent this wonderful house. We were there for 2 weeks in June and would have happily stayed on longer. The property is ideally suited to take advantage of the local amenities: The Boulangerie, food shops, pharmacy, gift shops and the traditional oyster restaurants are all within a few minutes walk. The property is extremely comfortable and everything we could have wanted, the kitchen is well equipped and the lounge and dining area are a good size. There is also an outside dining area which has fantastic views over the Arcachon Bassin, a great place to gather and relax. The pool is a good size and gets a lot of sun and was well used by us. There is a lovely homely feel and we always looked forward to returning from our local adventures. We also hired bikes and took advantage of the cycle paths which are only a few minutes away. We really loved this place and can’t wait to return. Can not recommend it more highly. 5 stars from us. Jane/David & Friends."
