I recently stayed at the Fingal Hotel in Edinburgh, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. beautifully restored 1960s ship, offers a unique blend of nautical history and modern elegance. The Art Deco interiors are stunning, and the attention to detail is impeccable, from the rooms to the dining at the Lighthouse Restaurant. The service was discreet yet attentive, ensuring a relaxing stay. I particularly enjoyed the quiet, serene location at Leith’s Alexandra Dock, a perfect retreat just a short ride from Edinburgh’s city center. the experience was 10/10 I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a truly unique and luxurious stay in Edinburgh.

The Fingal is an amazing place to stay. Treated so well, the staff, truly are fantastic. Food was delicious. The rooms are unique & so so comfy. I slept like a baby… for me that’s a huge thing! We will without a doubt be back to stay again. To see how the ship once operated was so interesting & we loved that we could also visit the Royal Yacht Britannia too. With complimentary tickets. All in all a stay we will remember for a long time. Thank you Fingal.

I don’t know how to put into words just how amazing our stay was. Even before check in staff were attentive and in communication to make sure even the tiniest want was attended to. Staff were friendly and courteous without being overbearing, the facility quite literally sparkled and the rooms exceeded every and any expectation we had. From the exceptionally comfortable linens to the little touches like scents quietly diffused into the room this was easily the best hotel experience I’ve ever had; I may have shed a tear on the way to the airport wanting to never leave

Excellent stay overall ! We loved the quiet location, but still close to amazing dining options . The tram is right across the hotel which makes it very easy to get to the tourist areas . If you like walking it’s only two miles from most sights . The tour of HMS Britannia is included in the hotel stay and it’s only ten minutes from the hotel . Also, the breakfast was amazing with vegetarian options . The staff was very attentive and detail oriented .

Cannot commend all the staff enough. Polite, friendly, professional and very attentive. The cabin was fantastic. All the little extras in the room added to our exceptional stay. Breakfast was truly amazing. Everything cooked fresh and anything you wanted!! All served up by staff who were genuinely interested in making the start to your day a great one. Wonderful facility and extraordinary staff…always ready to help with reservations, tickets etc. Dinner, served in their bar, is pricey and very mediocre. Breakfast, on the other hand, was wonderful
