This hotel is well situated in the historic part of Leon. It has a prominent spot in the Plaza Mayor with incredible views from the balconies (definitely worth a few extra dollars). Handful of restaurants are just outside the front door. The Cathedral and many more restaurants, pastry and ice cream shops, neighborhood markets, and other shops are all within a leisurely 5-10 min walk. Each member of front desk staff were competent, capable, and courteous...they could easily work front desk or concierge in a 5 star hotel. The reason for a 4 rather 5 rating is for some improvements - room flooring and showers. NOTE: If you have a balcony room on weekend there will be some noise but it didn't bother us.

This is a pretty typical 4* hotel. Location is excellent - right on the Plaza Mayor. Parking is under the hotel, in a shared commercial garage (enter from street behind hotel), with very tight spaces (as is usual in Spain). Room was large, well lit and comfortable. Desk clerk very helpful, but no bellboy service. Hotel restaurant is their coffee shop - food good but limited menu. Breakfast buffet good. Internet connection good. Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel and fabulous location. Parking is expensive, tho, and hotel only gives a 1 euro discount on a 25 Euro per day charge on adjacent parking. That was only negative. We would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The location on the lovely Plaza Mayor was perfect- we even had a balcony with a view of the square. Parking was directly below the hotel and easy to find. The location was close to restaurants and the cathedral. We would highly recommend!
