A spectacular and spacious barn conversion, recently upgraded with new kitchen, crisp white linen and fluffy towels. Each sitting room has comfortable soft furnishings, there is Wi-fi, a 55" curved screen TV in the large sitting room and a 36" flat screen in the smaller sitting room. Each sitting room has a large open fireplace.
The modern fitted kitchen includes an induction hob, large oven, microwave combination oven, dishwasher, and a large fridge with separate under-the-counter freezer. There is also a second large fridge/freezer in the utility room.
The Bourg Saint Maurice funicular is about 6km away, it provides ample parking and an 8 minute journey to Arcs 1600. The funicular is included in the standard Les Arcs ski pass.
The property is a converted 150 year old barn with open staircases, galleried landings and original wooden flooring. Children are welcome, however, young children would need close supervision as there are open staircases, galleried landings and the original wood flooring is uneven in some areas.
A large south-facing raised terrace gives spectacular views of the resorts of Les Arcs, La Plagne, and La Rosiere. The raised terrace also provides 2 under-cover parking spaces, there is further on-street parking about 100 metres away. Please respect the neighbours' parking areas. There is plenty of outdoor furniture including a hammock and a hot tub.
There is no charge for the use of the hot-tub, it is a domestic set-up and is not professionally monitored during your stay. No liability will be accepted for any damage or injury caused by its use.
The house is located in an authentic Savoyard village and is adjacent to the main D86 road which is a quiet road, but serves a number of working villages and a school bus run. In snowy weather the road is well-serviced by snow-ploughs, but snow tyres and chains are recommended in case of extreme conditions.
The price includes Egyptian cotton bed-linen, tea-towels, hand-towels, bath-towels, bath mats, and cleaning.
