Summer 2024
Just back home after an amazing 3 week stay. The chalet is beautiful and provided a home from home in the French Alps for me, my husband and our 2 dogs. The location and views from the garden (and the hot tub!) are stunning, I honestly don’t think the photos do this justice. The chalet is well equipped, clean tidy and welcoming and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and friendly and Les Houches is a perfect location for summer walks with easy access to 2 cable cars. I’d highly recommend this chalet and we have already booked to go back again next year.

A family holiday with good accommodation.
A lovely chalet with lots of facilities. Convenient for a supermarket. The hot tub was very popular with the children and the location was quiet. The garden furniture for use with the umbrella needs replacing or the bench table needs an umbrella. We had a really lovely time but it feels a little tired.

Had a great week staying in Chalet Drucas. The location is stunning and the chalet is very comfortable and well equipped. The outdoor furniture could do with being updated.

Exquisite home away from home Chalet
This Chalet was pure class. The decor was modern but still classic & timeless with high quality fixtures and fittings everywhere. The kitchen was well equipped with an extensive choice of pots and pans +accompanying utensils. The living room was perfect to comfortably accommodate 6 adults but there's also a 65 inch TV downstairs with large corner sofa plus bean bags. A further top floor room could also accomodate others around a smaller TV and 2 small sofas. The free WiFi was Fibre so ultrafast. There was a table tennis table which was an added bonus. There's a dedicated ski/board/boots drying room for us winter sports enthusiasts which was great. Everyone slept comfortably in their beds & each room had its own shower and toilet. The back garden had an enormous luxury wooden hot tub with lights, jets and was deep enough to slip your shoulders under the water which maintained its temperature whatever the outside temperature. There was also a log burner fuelled Sauna which was large enough for 6 adults. There is an 8/9 min walk to either the St Antoine OR La Griaz/Le Tourchet bus stop which has free buses to Le Prarion Gondola at one end and Le Praz Flegére Gondola at the other, every half hour. The Carrefour supermarket is 2 stops away by bus or a 17/18 min walk away. Comms were excellent with owner & manager who were knowledgeable & very helpful. The Chalet was exceptional value for money and I would not hesitate both to return and to recommend it to others.

Title: A Blissful Retreat for All - An Unforgettable Experience
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of staying at the chalet for an incredible two-month with my family and our beloved furry friend. From the moment we arrived until our departure, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. This chalet provided us with a tranquil escape, surrounded by breathtaking nature and infused with a sense of comfort and luxury. The location of this chalet is a very good nestled in a quite, yet centric area, close to bars, restaurants, the lifts and the center of town that can be easily reached on foot. Nestled amidst a picturesque landscape, it offered us a serene retreat. The surrounding mountains and lush greenery created a soothing atmosphere, inviting us to relax and unwind. The tranquility was unmatched, and it was a pleasure to wake up to the soothing sounds of nature each morning. The living spaces were spacious and comfortable, providing ample room for our family to spread out and enjoy our time together. The amenities offered were great and catered to our every need. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare delicious meals, and the dining area provided a lovely space for us to savour our culinary creations. The bedrooms were comfortable, each with a private bathroom. One of the highlights of our stay was the pet-friendly nature of this chalet. As devoted pet owners, it was a joy to have our furry companion with us throughout our vacation. We are coming back next year for another 2 months of enjoy

Fantastic Chalet!
This marked our 5th time skiing in the Chamonix valley and this was the best chalet yet. Very charming and located right in the heart of Les Houches. Spacious yet cozy for our group of 8 adults. It has everything you need for a winter ski trip to the alps, plus a hot tub with a fantastic view. Thanks, Angela and Michael for the great communication. We will definitely look to stay here on our next trip to the Chamonix valley!

Hot Tub Heaven
We had a truly wonderful stay in this very comfortable chalet, with huge beds and fab bathrooms all en suite. The hot tub outside, after a day's skiing, was simply divine, with a view of the Aiguille de Midi and Mont Blanc. We were lucky with the snow too - the chalet was up the hill but you could walk down the nursery slopes after it was shut to get to the brew pub, a 5 minute walk. Highly recommended! Mike and his manager Angela were responsive and incredibly helpful throughout. Can't fault it really. Thanks for such a lovely holiday.

Fab find........fab location........
Great property, very comfortable with everything you need for a fab stay. A more organised “book” of information would be helpful, there were leaflets available, but it just felt that it took a while to get our bearings etc. A few extra baking trays would be handy. Overall a great bolt hole for enjoying the fantastic scenery and activities of the Chamonix area, we didn’t have a car and the buses worked perfectly for us.......once we had worked out the numbers and times.

Fantastic chalet for a summer holiday
We really loved the week we spent on holiday in this chalet and are highly likely to book it again. The listing is very accurate, as are the photos. We’ve not had a hot tub in a holiday rental before, but after experiencing it this year it may have become a must have! Although we were a single family of 2 adults and 2 children, the chalet could definitely accommodate two families. It’s in a nice position - close enough to Les Houches but on the Chamonix side. Although there are neighbours, it’s nice and private and there is no feeling of being overlooked. Don’t think, just book it (but not the week we want)!

Comfortable, spacious chalet with breathtaking views
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable spacious chalet with stunning views of the mountains. Loved the jacuzzi after a days hiking. Cooked meals every night for our group in the well equipped large kitchen and relaxed in the lounge area or out on the deck in the evening. Was perfect. 5 min walk to Chamonix bus stop.

Outstanding week in the Alps
We stayed in this fantastic Chalet from 2nd Feb 2019. We were a party of 8 adults and 2 dogs. Mike (owner) communicated with us all the way through to our arrival and made it very relaxing knowing we were in safe hands. The Chalet, well what a fantastic place to call home for a week. It had all we could have expected and was truly amazing. The place was spotlessly clean and very spacious. We are all keen skiers and to come back to this Chalet after a long day on the slopes was perfect. The Hot Tub was a major hit and the view from it was spectacular. The kitchen was more than comfortable for all of us and had all the necessary essentials required. The Table Tennis was also a huge bonus. We had fantastic weather with a meter of snow in the garden so I guess we timed it perfectly. We done the Euro Tunnel with the dogs and drove down from Calais. Very easy drive which took around 9 hours with two 30 minute stops. To get to the Chalet you have to drive up a lane for about 300yards off the main village road so strongly recommend snow chains if you are driving. I wouldn't have got up to the Chalet if not for these chains so don't get caught out, especially after a long drive. The Skiing - The village of Les Houches is lovely and spread out well, the main Gondola is about 5 mins on the Ski Bus. The bus stop we used was a 5 minute walk away (down the hill from the Chalet and left for about 400 yards along). We used the Ski Shop outside the bus stop for our rental, which was the cheapest we could find and Christophe was very helpful. The shop is called Cuby Sport 2000. I had a quote off Snowbrainer and mailed it to Christophe, who matched the price. He also let us leave our gear there overnight with the bus stop on the return journey also right outside the shop, which made walking back to the Chalet easy. Les Houches for skiing was ok. Its not challenging if you are advanced but nice if you want a chilled day it has some fantastic easy blues. Two of our group were first time skiers so it was perfect. There's a couple of bars around the village too, we thought the Kitsch Bar was the best. Food was lovely and live music most days. Also shows all the major sporting events if you want it. We also took the ski bus and walked into Chamonix where the skiing became a little tougher but was out of this world. Little pricey on the slopes (8-10 euros a pint.) Overall, outstanding Chalet and highly recommended if you are planning a trip to the Alps !!

Elegant and Comfortable Chalet
Comfortably housed 9 guests, including 3 Children. Michael was very accommodating and easy to work with in all respects. The hot tub and sauna are perfect after a long day on the slopes, which are a short drive or bus ride away. Bring chains in the winter! The hill leading to the neighborhood is steep and impossible to climb without them.

Perfect chalet to explore the area
Cannot praise the accommodation enough. The chalet is beautiful, accurate to description, extremely well appointed and clean, neat and tidy on arrival. The on site help was quick and efficient (slight issue with garden that was sorted within the hour of notification) and very friendly. The location is perfect to pop into Chamonix (5 minute drive) or walk into Les Houches (less than 10 min walk). Close by supermarket and restaurants were also good. Would absolutely stay again :)
