Ocean-front beach house

Pretty much as close to the beach as you can get at Waitarere. You can step out from our sliding doors onto a path through the dunes. You can hear the waves at night.

The house is open-plan and kitted out with modern furniture and comfortable beds.

We have several welcoming and relaxing areas outside as well as in., including two outside dining areas (one under cover).

We sleep up to six adults comfortably with three bedrooms in the main house and a separate sleepout with two bedrooms and its own bathroom.

There is a cozy woodburner for winter and lots of books, games and magazines.

For kids there are toys, swings and a fun treehouse.

We are dog friendly - we allow guests to bring a dog and just ask that they stay off the furniture (please contact us if you have more than one dog). Our back section is fenced.

We have our cleaner as a compulsory charge so we can make sure the property is wonderfully clean and tidy for all guests.

You will need to bring your own linen (tea towels, sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases & towels).

There's lots to see and do on the Kapiti coast and Horowhenua: food venues, some wonderful little shops, and outdoor adventures and sightseeing. In Waitarere itself we have a fantastic 4Square that does coffee and pastries and has a great range of groceries.

You'll love the view, the sunsets and the walks on the beach. Come and enjoy.
