We've stayed at The Elwood before, and will be there again. Spent some time at the bar downstairs. One of the best parts of staying here is The Fiddle Tree Kitchen and bar. Great food. Fantastic staff. The hotel is quite and we always get a good night's sleep.

Older hotel, clean and quiet. Good for a short stay, close to the highway. Room cleaning every 3rd day unless you ask for a more frequent clean. I guess it was on us as we didn’t read the booklet in the room and were somewhat surprised the room didn’t get cleaned or at least the garbage emptied over our entire stay (3 nights) On the plus side it was nice to get a phone call minutes after we checked out, letting us know about an item we forgot behind.

Overall nice hotel, but it’s definitely not 4 stars. They tried to make an old “holiday Inn” into this 4 star boutique. Their entrance with the fun murals and colors gives it a good cover. The rooms are clean and roomy, but be prepared for a 2.5 star hotel room. Very small bathrooms and small tub shower with very little water pressure. Basically everything you’d expect from a 2 star hotel, but this was supposed to be 4 stars.

The floors were messy linoleum. The furniture was picked up from flee market it seemed. The towels and sheets were clean The odor variable coming from presumably outside. One night it smelled smoky. Another very strong food smell from the kitchen the AC was very loud to sleep. At more than $500 per night for two the price was outrageous!!!! However, the restaurant was the three times we ate here excellent and would go again and reasonably priced.

We had a king corner room and it was fantastic. Very spacious and there were real live plants in the room. Nice touch. The staff were very friendly. We got in later in the evening and left very early the next morning so we didn’t see much. I would definitely stay here again.
