Very friendly receptionist,(bucky), who sorted a minor issue as i added a day to the trip after arriving and was allowed to retain the same room, even though it was reserved for another guest arriving, but they gave them a free upgrade without them even knowing.

The property is GORGEOUS! Very unique with lots of history. Unfortunately when I booked, I did not know that it was pet friendly. I didn’t even realize to ask, so when we entered our room, all you could smell was DOG. As I am allergic, that part was not good. Everything else about this place was amazing.

Old mansion converted to a Hotel.Very well done with good attention to detail. It's a brief walk to downtown and restaurants. There is also a grocery store basically across the street. Great location, clean, good service, no concerns at all.

The rooms smell terrible. We used to stay here fairly often as we have a student-athlete at a nearby university and we come up for a lot of games. But as we moved in our daughter this weekend, the two rooms we had both smelled like wet pets. It was so gross. I love my dogs, but I don't need to take them everywhere and this hotel smells like animals. GROSS!
