The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We had a late check in due to our travels but everything was very good. The hotel smelled clean and the rooms did also. Breakfast was stocked and supplied with all the essentials, i appreciated the larger juice cups.
Extremely friendly welcoming staff when we arrived late around 11pm. Nice clean updated rooms. Location was around 20 mins from downtown Lexington and a nice easy drive. Free breakfast was pretty good and lady running it was very nice and accommodating.
Everything in our room was dirty and the whole room smelled like Mildew and was very dusty. It is very apparent that no one has moved the beds away from the wall to sweep behind it in a long time. The floors were dusty even after they swept them. There was food on the coffee table, food crumbs under the desk, a banana peel left on the desk, sheets were dirty, dog hair in the bathroom along with facial hair left on the sink and shower. When we reported what we found when we arrived (Dirty sheets, dirty floor, and the banana peel) the ONE employee working went up and spot cleaned the room and changed the sheets. We were very disappointed in the quality of our room. We could have changed rooms but the only available rooms were queen size and we wanted a king size.
Hard floors should probably not be used in hotel rooms on upper floors. We didn't sleep the last night we were there because of children upstairs running back and forth and rolling the desk chair all over above us.
