We knew the hotel was a bit dated but LOVED our stay here-beautiful view, lovely staff (especially in the tavern) and fascinating history room. We are ok with no room service, taking our own luggage in and periodic cleaning, so it was ideal for us!

There was no place to set or lay anything in the bathroom. Not even a hook on the door. No top seat cover, so if you sat something on the back of the toilet it had a high probability of being knocked into the toilet bowl. I knocked my mirror off the side of the sink and it shattered. The ceiling in the bathroom was cracking apart and falling in. Our view out the window in the back was of a broken down building with vines and weeds everywhere. The blacktop looked very old and broken up. The view from the front was beautiful. No one came to our room when we were out all day to make our bed, collect our dirty towels and to leave us fresh towels. When we called, we were told we had to come to the front desk and get them ourselves. Not a hotel I would recommend….

Hotel common areas, doors need refreshing, look worn. Parking inadequate. I had to walk 80 yards to hotel. Card keys were labeled Motel 6—not a good look for a Wynham signature property. Hotel restaurant greatly understaffed. Had to drive 7 mi away to find a restaurant.

Great Hotel but service was lacking
Room was great. The morning desk clerk was very unfriendly and not helpful. Continental breakfast was pitiful. Would have been happy to buy breakfast but restaurant was closed. It was a weekday morning but could have been much better.

OMG. THIS HOTEL IS SOOOOOO NICE. EVERYTHING IS GREAT AND YOU JUST HAVE TO WALK ACROSS THE STREET FOR THE ENTRANCE OF THE NATURAL BRIDGE.

Only comment I I’ll make is that over the 2 to three years that I stop there midway in my trip that I witness constant upgrades to the facilities. The bonus to stopping here is that It is pet friendly.

The front-desk staff was excellent. They were professional and friendly. As you drive up to the property it looks amazing, almost regal. But as you enter the front door you will see that the property is quite outdated…BUT, you can tell that this was a luxurious hotel at one time. The carpeting was worn and smelled musty in the hallways. The elevator is old. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Towels and toiletries were good…. The breakfast that they charge you $16.99 for is what is given in many other hotels for free…. Not worth the $$$ and there were no baked items.

Great Historical Hotel and Wonderful Staff
A really nice historical hotel with wonderful staff, good food, clean room, and comfy bed. Right across the street from the entrance to the Natural Arch State Park
