My Stone and Cedar Lodge is perfect for large family gatherings. The dinning room has a large counter height nine foot long table that can easily seat 10 or more guests and the granite island can seat 4 people. I have plenty plates and silverware for everyone.
It currently has a three night minimum stay, and if you wish to book for 7 nights or longer a 10% discount will be applied. If you wish 28 days or longer you will receive a 25% discount. The solar heated pool has been a big draw for guest of all ages and can be enjoyed from April 1st until September 30th.

Step-free Entrance: A new concrete ramp has been added near the back door that makes the house wheelchair accessible. All interior doors have a minimum clearance of at least 28"
The custom build tree house and trampoline is a big hit for young children. Play a game of billiards 🎱 on the 7’ pool table. Enjoy quiet walks around the pond and see all kinds of Wildlife. The one and a half story country ranch is located just outside of Lexington and is only 12 miles from Keeneland.
This is a very relaxing country lodge in a very quiet neighborhood in the heart of the Bluegrass. It may not look big from the outside but every bedroom is very spacious. The five bedrooms can comfortably sleep up to 16 people if every bed is being used. (1 King bed, 7 Queen beds)
The cleaning fee is $185 per stay.
For bookings of more than 8 guest there is an additional charge of $20 per guest per stay. (More beds and towels are being used) Example: 10 guests = $40 more
Any new booking has a two part payment plan: First Payment of 25% when booking is made and the second payment due 60 days before check in. If the booking is less than 60 days the full payment is required.
Free cancellation 30 days before check in.
The home sits on 2.5 acres and overlooks a private neighborhood lake with lots of trees and wildlife. The pool is 16’ x 32’ with a 3.5’ shallow end that goes to maximum depth of 4.5 feet so it is perfect for playing games like water volleyball and it is very safe for children.
The solar panel help heat the pool on sunny days. On average, a solar heated pool will be 8-12 degrees warmer than an unheated pool in the same area, allowing for an extended swimming season from April until September. Early and later in the season a removable solar blanket can be used to keep the water warm during cooler nights. The pool has nice blue liner and uses a low level of chlorine.
A volleyball net and all kinds of floats are provided for your relaxing swimming enjoyment.
If you have the time to read some of the reviews you will find that the children really like to climb, slide, and swing on the custom-built tree playhouse. The large upper deck is accessible through a trap door.
A new 14-foot enclosed trampoline will help keep children of all ages entertained.
Adults and children also enjoy playing the corn hole games and basketball games.
The neighborhood is very peaceful and has minimum neighborhood traffic only. Early morning or at sunset are great times to take a stroll around the pond. Located just a few miles from historic downtown Wilmore, home of Asbury University. A short drive will get you to Keeneland, Historic Shaker Village, the Bourbon Trail, the Bluegrass Trail, the Kentucky Horse Park, and the Bluegrass airport (LEX). Downtown Lexington and Rupp Arena is only 25 minutes away.
Some guests may enjoy an educational trip to the Ark Encounter, a one-of-a-kind museum in Petersburg, KY, featuring a full-size replica of Noah's Ark.
This was our family home for 35 years and I live nearby. Should you have any problems, I am more than happy to make sure you will have a wonderful time. If the weather is cooperative, I would be happy to build a small bonfire during your stay.
No wild parties or events allowed. Family reunions and birthday gatherings are not a problem as long it is done in a respectful manner and does not include additional guests spending the night. Please feel free to ask me any questions. I love to see people fun and enjoying themselves at my property.
Please note: The house is located in a wooded area so you may hear coyotes at night, birds chirping, woodpeckers, and owls. You may encounter wild creatures such as, but not limited to: geese, ducks, deer, rabbit, wild turkeys, squirrel, moles, mice, snakes, foxes, turtles, wasps, bees, ticks, flies, mosquitos and other bugs during your stay. I can not guarantee that you will see all above wildlife but if you happen to see bugs/pests/wildlife you are not familiar with, this is beyond my control and no refund will be given.
