I stayed here for 2 nights on business. I love the fireplace going out front. They had to be the most comfortable hotel beds and pillows I've had in a long time. Very clean feeling. The bar was nice - would prefer lower lighting. Breakfast was excellent. (And free). The whole area had a Dickens feeling at night. I ate at Carsons nearby which was excellent. I have a continued complaint IN EVERY HOTEL of overall inadequate lighting in the room and bathroom. Made getting ready difficult. Would stay again though.

Average rating. The room was not very clean. There were fingerprints on the inside of the door to the room. The carpeting in the hallway had quite a few stains. The bedding had a very strong chemical/fragrance smell. It was so strong it was difficult to sleep.

Great hotel in the heart of the historic district in Downtown Lexington. This older building has been nicely refurbished, the rooms are tasteful, comfortable and quiet. Bathrobes are included. The breakfast is just okay and it would be nice if there were more healthy choices. The downtown and historic district is close by and is comfortably walkable.

When we arrived we were confronted by a homeless person which was our first impression. Our room had a noisy air conditioner so we were relocated to another room which was much smaller. The staff was helpful but did nothing to make up for the inconvenience.

It was an okay hotel. Definitely not worth the price. The downstairs smelled like sewage and the upstairs smelled like a litter box. The bed was comfortable and the room seemed clean but I couldn’t get over the smells.
