"Siracusa has been the highlight of our 10 days in Sicily so far and Algilà Ortigia was a great place to visit. Staff was friendly and several went out of their way to be helpful. We are good walkers and could walk to all parts of Ortigia, the island you want to stay on, and be there within 15 minutes. We had a junior suite that was large with several separate areas. Full service breakfast was good, not great. Bed was very big but not the most comfortable Despite these minor things, all four of us loved the hotel and location "

"Great house just 20 mins from Ortigia. Pool and views are exceptional. Loved our afternoons lounging by the pool. Easy drive to Ragusa, Modica and Noto too. Highly recommend this property. "

Breakfast was included, but I also ordered an evening meal from their kitchen, and it was the best Sicilian food I’ve had in my 4 days of travel. I can’t praise this place enough. "everything was good and Leila at the reception was so nice and helpful. I booked a 3 bed room but got 2 single beds (room 122 as far as I remember, next to the reception) and the toilet does not flush properly. all in all, I'm happy with this hotel. "
