Enjoyed Our Stay
This was our second stay at this resort, but the first in this unit. The furnishings and overall appearance of the unit are modern and attractive. The view overlooks the pool, two gas BBQs and the ocean. It is close to the airport and Kapaa, and Lihue is just a bit farther away. It is centrally located for longer trips to Princeville/Hanalei or the south shore. There are two things you should be aware of.There is some sort of waste processing plant about 1/2 mile north of the resort. Normally not an issue but we had several evenings when the wind changed from the NE to the W and could smell the plant for about an hour.There is a large soccer field literally across the fence from the property. There were a few games each evening and many games going on at the same time on Saturdays. You can hear the parents and grandparents cheering their little ones on but is only a minor distraction.We found these to be minor issues and would definitely stay in this unit again.

My primary frustration was lack of AC…I probably will return when the temps/ humidity cool down (Fall or Spring) before booking another trip to the Hawaiian islands. But the unit I stayed in was comfortable ( good bed!) and the views were lovely. Great walking area to watch the spectacular sunrises!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kauai! The property was as described. Great and quiet location. Quiet except for the rooster wake up calls but the is inherent to Kauai. Condo was well stocked including beach trip supplies. Bed was very comfortable. The crosswinds were relaxing and didn’t mind not having AC. The management quickly responded to questions Would love to come back again

Staying at Kaha Lani was absolutely amazing. The view and location were ideal, and the room was nicely decorated and appointed with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. However, we were there 9 nights, and when we asked about changing out our towels after 4 days, we were told it would be a $35 charge. Seriously?? We paid over $400 a night and you can’t give us clean towels unless we pay more? That seemed really petty, since we were given two towels each and only two towels for the kitchen. Also, we were put off by the film of grime on every surface and ended up using the “cleaning vinegar” to clean all of the surfaces, which looked like they had been wiped with dirty rags, if at all. It was truly off-putting and gross to behold, but it didn’t take us long to make it comfortable enough to thoroughly enjoy the place for the remainder of our stay.

Great condo, great location, great property management
My wife and I probably looked at two dozen other properties on Kaua‘i before settling on Kaha Lani 310. We were overwhelmingly pleased with our decision! This property was just the right size for the two of us, with 1.5 baths so we could both get ready for the day at the same time. The condo complex was quiet and far enough from the highway where we couldn’t hear any traffic noise. The third-floor location meant there was no one above us. It has a lovely view of the ocean, and the windows let the cool breeze flows through the entire condo. The pool is the perfect temperature. There was plenty of parking available when we were there (March), and a parking pass for the complex was left in the condo. This is in a great location near the airport (but not so close you can hear planes taking off), with equal drive-time access to the north and south shores. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby in Kapa‘a. Lydgate Park Pools is ½ mile to the nortn; the ocean is enclosed behind a rock barrier, perfect for inexperienced snorkelers and families with small children. Wailua Golf Course is immediately to the south, if you want easy access to golfing. I can’t say enough good things about the property management. There are thoughtful touches throughout the condo, including beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels. Late checkout was available for a reasonable upcharge. We loved our one-week stay, and we’ll definitely rebook Kaha Lani 310 the next time we come to Kaua‘i!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect size for us. The views of the ocean from the lanai were amazing. Also, being able to hear the ocean waves from inside the unit and out on the lanai was wonderful. The roosters were the only downside as they crowded as early as 4 am. We had to shut the windows so as not to hear them as loud. It would have been nice to have easier access to the tennis/pickle ball court. You could not play after 4 because you need the key from the office which closed at 4

This is a beautiful property. There are units closer to the ocean than others. Look at the property map before deciding on the unit available. We would have picked one closer to the ocean. There is some traffic noise in the morning.

We had a very nice stay at this beachfront condo. Great view and well kept grounds. The unit was clean. It was a bit tight for a family of 4, but as advertised. Nice location and especially close to Smith Family Luau, which we enjoyed. Lots of chickens on the grounds, which were loud in the mornings. Overall, great stay.

Quite comfortable and a prime location for ocean views. Just above the pool which was extra nice to enjoy the flaming tikis. Condo was just as pictured,, extra fans provided additional air circulation. We had beach chairs and towels provided.We dined on the lanai balcony with padded chairs, and reclined on the relaxing lounge chairs. Impeccable grounds, superb location from airport and Costco. Will gladly return to this same unit. We truly felt the Aloha spirit!

Above average unit on nice property
The unit was on par with other condos we've rented on the islands in the past. Everything worked and it was clean, though I could write my name in the film on the coffee table glass. If you like to cook, the cutlery was also on par with other condos, i.e. atrocious. A paring knife and bread knife from a Henkels Twin set were the best pieces, the provided sharpener was worn out and no help on the larger pieces. Bring your own chef knives. You'll probably find enough cookware to muddle through. There are two 3-burner Weber grills on the property, which saw a lot of use. We did enough grilling and smoking over the summer that we didn't use them during our stay. There are two baths, which is unusual and appreciated, even with only two staying there. The unit is not as large as the pix at VRBO seem, not a criticism; it was plenty large enough for the two of us, just adjust your expectations. Unlike other places we've stayed, the provided key code is for the key pad is built into the door's deadbolt. One less thing to worry about losing at the beach; it took about a day to memorize the code. There is a coded key lockbox for a physical key near the door, but it's not used, at least not by guests. The view from the unit was magnificent: pool in foreground, then wide well kept lawn bordered by palms, then the south end of Lydgate beach, and the ocean. Nice to have the beach so close, that's a bit of a luxury. The pool was kept very clean.
