The cabin is both suitable for you who are looking for a vacation with an active outdoor life or for those of you who want the opportunity to relax. The cottage is also well suited for the slightly larger family and offers 8 beds divided over 2 bedrooms and a spacious sleeping loft (incl. shower/toilet), living room with an open plan to the well-equipped kitchen. On the ground floor there is also a wc/shower/sauna. From the cabin, you have a short walking distance to cross-country skiing tracks in the winter or hiking trails/brook fishing in the summer. It takes about 3 minutes by car from the cabin to Hundfjället's and Tandådalen's ski facilities (both downhill and cross-country). There is a ski bus that departs 70 m from the cabin which takes you from Hundfjället to the Lindvallen ski area.

To see and do in Sälen and the surrounding area
Winter in Sälen is popular with a large selection of fine ski facilities for downhill and cross-country skiing for both beginners and more experienced skiers. For those who want to see more of the mountain, there is the option of dog sledding and snowmobile safaris, and ice karting is also popular activities. Children and adults enjoy a fast-paced experience at the Experium adventure pool. Sälen also offers several spa facilities or why not watch a movie at the cinema.
End the day after skiing with a traditional afterski or why not a nice sauna in the cabin. The range of good, varied food and a pleasant environment is large in Sälen.
The summer in Sälen has a lot to offer. Enticing activities include downhill cycling (Take the chairlift up to the top and then bike down), cycling, canoeing, white water rafting, high-altitude courses (from easy courses to significantly more difficult and nerve-wracking) and paddle boarding.
At this time of year, nature is magnificent and best experienced on foot. There is the possibility of both short and long hiking trails, a trip to the top of the ski slope, a visit to the troll forest or Fäbovallen. Or towards the end of the summer/autumn maybe a trip to pick gooseberries.
For warmer days, you have several lakes to choose from for a cooling dip. If you are interest in fishing there are many options in the nearby rivers and lakes.
