I am so glad we booked our stay at D Sands Rentals before reading the horrible reviews or we would have missed out on a wonderful room right off of the beach with a gorgeous view. Our room was the perfect beach retreat; clean dishes and surface areas, along with comfy and tidy living spaces. You can tell the owners of this rental take pride in providing a happy place at the beach for others to enjoy. There were photos of them and their family on the walls with a great beach theme running throughout. We will definitely be back!

This property is right on the ocean and is fabulous for watching and listening to the ocean, as well as walking on the beach. It has a separate bedroom which is nice, as well as a pull-out bed that is in the living room. The rooms are spacious, and the kitchen is adequately equipped. There is a nice pool and hot tub available for guests. The property is located near the Outlet Mall as well as several restaurants and stores. Very conveniently located and easy beach access. We did get some traffic noise so earplugs may be advisable for those who are sensitive to noise. The building is a little dated, but a great value for the price!

It was mostly good. The tub needed repairs. The toilet moved when you sat on it the bed in the living room. The bedspread didn’t even fit it in the balcony didn’t look safe.

Great view. Last day and a couple of rooms down from us a commercial cleaning service shows up in a van and starts cleaning one of the rooms. Our room literally was buzzing with a loud sound and continued All Day! Very disappointing. No courtesy call, No warning, No nothing from the property management about the cleaning service.

Great beach getaway.
We had a great room with the privacy of a second floor and amazing beach view. We'd give it 5 stars except it shows a bit of wear. Please note, We'd rather keep it as is in order to keep the great price. Love having the full kitchen with dishes, cutlery and pots. The keycode entry is very convenient. Beach access is excellent. The small shop across the street has most anything you might have forgotten, and beach toys for the kids. Try their great sandwiches and breakfast burrito.

Our first and last time of staying on the first floor we have been staying here for many years on the top floor and love it main thing is the bed in our room is a air mattress 1st night was good but went down from there tv was fire system and for us was nothing but trouble we're in our 70s and couldn't figure out how to use it room was ok otherwise.

I enjoyed my stay. The people around were friendly. I didnt know I had a 3 story hike up stairs and with my spine it was painfull. I didn't see where it said staires and I assumed there was an elevator . Thats on me not on them. I had a beautiful view and loved the private deck. I would stay again but on the 1 st floor. Lol

I'll never stay there again. Kitchen floor very sticky we tried to clean it but couldn't get the sticky off. It was really disgusting. Kitchen poorly stocked. No tea kettle, no hot pads not much silverware and what was there was cheep.The only measuring cup was a one cup liquid cup no measuring spoons at all. Handle on the frying pan was broken.The floor slopes really bad because the corner of the building has settled. The carpet was dirty. The bathroom was nice with updated fixtures but the cabinet under the sink was beat up and broken and there was makeup on one of the washcloths. The window with the ocean view had dirt streaks all over it. The Murray bed won't fold up completely. No extra bedding/blankets glad I took my own. Furniture in the living room arranged so you can't see the ocean. We moved the couch so we could look at the ocean though the dirty window and found a spot on the back of it from being pushed against the heater. The bed was comfortable but there was a blood stain on the sheets. Had to call the office because we lost hot water. They got on it quickly and it was taken care of in under an hour.

The condo was great with a beautiful ocean view. The issue was the cookware. It had a great kitchen but the pots & pans were pretty gross. We went to Goodwill just down the street & bought some that we will bring with us next time. Yes, we loved the room enough that we have reserved it for next month and again in January.
