Fireplace Suite With King Bed! Pool And Hot Tub!

No. 216 at D Sands Condominiums is a privately owned condo we call "Pacific Approach”. Located in a south building that was added onto the property after the construction of the original, this one bedroom, one bathroom suite is located 15 steps up on the second floor and guests can take in those ocean views from the condo's large wall of windows or out on the private balcony.

Bring the whole family because Pacific Approach can sleep up to a party or family of 6. Enjoy the privacy of the King bed in the bedroom, or opt for the Queen in the living room to fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean. A sleeper sofa in the living room sleeps 2 more, and is across from the TV and a gas fireplace so that you can enjoy a cozy stay on even the rainiest of Oregon Coast's days. The bathroom features both a shower and a bathtub.

Pacific Approach also comes equipped with a fully stocked kitchenette, complete with full-sized refrigerator, stovetop, oven, drip coffee maker, and microwave, and a small dining table to allow you to enjoy an oceanfront dining experience from the comfort of your condo.

The Unit of Association Owners, our HOA, provides Wi-fi and cable TV throughout the complex, an indoor heated pool, and a hot tub. D Sands Condominiums also features its own easy and private beach access so that guests can take full advantage of our oceanfront location and play in the sand and surf.

Centrally located in the middle of Lincoln City, D Sands Condominiums is an easy walk to Kyllo's, Lincoln City's favorite restaurant on the beach, a wine bar, Chinese food and so much more. A quick car ride can take you to the Chinook Winds Casino or the Lincoln City Outlets, not to mention all the other fun dining, shopping, and activity destinations in town.

If you walk 15-20 minutes on the beach to the north, you will find natural tidepools with all kinds of sea life. Or stay a little closer to home, and take in one of the most famous rivers in the world, the D River, the shortest river on the planet. The D River State Recreation Area is adjacent to the property, and provides even easier access to the beach in the form of a gradual slope. Right on the hwy, while that offered convince the traffic noise was constant for the bedroon that faced the road. I would stay again just not with someone who was trying to get away from noise.

Great location.
The D Sands complex is centrally located and handy for getting wherever you want to go. It's an older complex but has been nicely maintained. The unit that we stayed in appears to have been updated in recent years and while I wouldn't call it modern, it was certainly clean and nicely appointed. When we arrived the TV in the living room wasn't working. After a bit of checking I determined that none of the electrical on that wall was working. I found the breaker box but nothing had tripped. I reset the breakers anyway, but to no avail. I went down to the office and reported it and they said they would send someone up to check. Someone arrived in about 15 minutes and verified what I had found. They left and in about another 15 minutes a maintenance person arrived, found a bad outlet, replaced it, and had everything working. While it's always better to not encounter any problems, it is very important how problems that do occur are handled. Kudos to the staff at D Sands for their quick and courteous resolution to our electrical problem! Overall we were very happy with this unit.

Comfy retreat on the OR Coast
We enjoyed our stay in this comfortably appointed condo with spectacular views of the Oregon Coast. The condo was nicely decorated, warm and inviting. We spent time on the cute balcony watching the waves. Loved having a bed in the main room so we could listen to the waves and watch the sunsets. Will visit again.

It's the little things...
This may come across as nit-picky to some, but it is what it is. Check-In: There's no good reason to not allow early check-in if the unit is clean and ready. The front desk was very unreasonable in this regard. Kitchen: If you advertise as a full kitchen, then guests should expect to be able to cook full meals. This unit clearly hasn't had any investment in dishes, utensils, etc in many years. One big pot and one small frying pan. The can opener is so old and worn out it wouldn't open a can. 4 forks in the drawer. Pool/Hot Tub: Down for 2 of the 4 night's stay.

Very much enjoyed my stay with wife and kids!! Ocean view was beautiful. We were on second floor with a balcony staring directly at the ocean and all its beauty! Had nice fire place in living room , cute kitchenette , bathroom was clean and stocked well with walk in shower, and also had an entire back bedroom. Wife and I slept in living room on queen size bed right next to balcony to feel the ocean breeze. Our youngest slept on pull out couch which he loved , right next to us and our oldest got the king size bed in the bedroom all to her self! I really had no complaints or issues 😊

Great Get Away
It was a joy to stay in a place with such a great view of the ocean and ocean access was very simple down on flight of stairs from the condo. We choose to sleep in the guest bed by the fireplace and ocean view rather than in the king sized bed in the private bedroom both because of view and road noise from Highway 101. Place was very clean, well furnished and comfortable and neighbors were quiet. We will definitely return to this place 👍

Beautiful ocean front condo. We stayed for 3 nights. Very comfortable! Everything was wonderful with the exception of the wireless internet connection, as it was extremely slow and multiple times throughout the day the tv showed a message that the server was overwhelmed/overloaded. The perfect coastal getaway. Whether watching the waves from our balcony, the short walk to the beach, the fireplace in the room, or the short walk to the seafood restaurant…we enjoyed the condo very much. The location was very convenient.

Absolutely loved the bed by the window(waking up to see the ocean is wonderful)! Bed was comfortable! Loved the fireplace! Everything you could possibly need! The location is convenient to go any direction & close to everything you could want or need. Kitchen is well stocked (even some herbs/spices). No blender if that's important. Games (all ages) nice TV (easy to use & directions to help), lots of space and closets. The king bed we didn't use(wanted to sleep by the ocean) and there is some traffic noise in the bedroom(king). The other guests were polite and quiet and one even offered to help us get our luggage up the stairs! Super kind. The pool & Hottub were nice and warm. (not as hot as we like it). They need a hook(s) on the back of the bathroom door. And a bit more vacuuming on the vents/corners. Definitely would stay here again! Loved it!

Cozy Beachfront Getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was great at communicating via email, and we were well stocked with towels, kitchen utensils, and essentials throughout our stay! The smoke detector was extra sensitive when we were cooking sausage.The water was always nice and hot for showers and washing dishes. Check in and check out was easy and convenient.
