Property is very nice. Walls are very thin. We could hear EVERYTHING happening in the rooms next to and above us. people partying late into the night...screaming babies and upstairs stomping. Won't be staying there again...

Nel at the front desk was great. We got into town early and had our two year old with us. She was able to get us an early check in which was great for us. All the staff were friendly and attentive. We will be back next time we are in Lincoln City.

It is, what it is, a hotel. It’s quiet, with nice beach access. They have a French press coffee maker in the room. I, don’t know what that’s all about. Who wants to squish coffee grounds in the morning? It’s not a big deal though, plenty of coffee shops near by.

Beat place to stay.
Amazing few days celebrating my birthday. Hotel is older but clean and comfortable. Views were amazing and easy access to beach. Quiet even with a full house. The jacuzzi was lovely way to wind down. Will stay here again!

The expedia details stated that surfland was the newest in lincoln city. It could be detailed a little different, since the building is not new.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and great amenities, including fire pits in the common area, lounge chairs overlooking the ocean, pool, and hot tub. There is a convenient and private access path to the beach. And I loved the complimentary coffee, tea, and evening cookies offered in the lobby.

Remodeled two years ago, this hotel shows pride of ownership. Unit was clean, bathroom had updated fixtures, king bed very comfortable, good lighting, small refrigerator with freezer compartment, multiple outlets for USB and C connections, good breakfast (included) and friendly, helpful staff. When returning to Lincoln City, Surfland will be our destination hotel.

Surfside was an unexpected gem. Understanding what most older seaside hotels are, which is usually musty, dark, and dated, the Surfside pleasantly surprised. It’s clearly been updated and given some TLC and modern touches including refreshed interiors, a small kitchenette area, and updated bathroom. The nicely appointed gathering deck between the lobby and rooms is super charming and a great location to get some protection from the breeze, and warm yourself by the oversized gas firepit. The ocean view overlooking the small cliff was is a bonus. The sound of crashing waves rocked us to sleep, and the staff make you feel right at home.
