This is our third time staying at Riverwalk and we always enjoy our stay. There are quite a few improvements and additions, which just adds to the whole experience. We highly recommend it

Perfect Mix of Wilderness and Action
We stayed in a suite with a full kitchen overlooking the slopes and it was awesome. Our only complaint is that the fireplace was not real, it was one of those with lights instead of fire but we rolled with the punches and won’t knock a star just for that although we were really looking forward to real fire (it was in the 40s when we visited in November). The hotel is in a quaint town that has restaurants and there is a grocery store right next door, which makes it very easy. There is a river behind the hotel (hence the name) and a great walkway along the river. The wine in the winery is not the best but heck, when you are on vacation any wine is good. They also serve cider (alcoholic, of course!) and that was Ok but again, it is good to have that option on property. It is a great location to drive to the Kancamagus scenic road. Do the loop and go to the Omni Washington Mt. Resort. That was a very cool stop. We did dinner there and it was very expensive ($150 for 2) but we splurged and really enjoyed the grounds. You don’t need to eat there to visit. A must hike is the Sabbaday Falls.

Great property , great pool and jacuzzi, very convenient, you can walk to flap jacks, one love brewery, and there is a axe throwing literally in the same parking lot to the right of the building walking out next to one love brewery, there is also a grocery store steps from the hotel on the left.. its right on the kangamangus .. their is a trail behind the hotel with some very unique beautiful views of the river.. do not miss !!

Great Hotel

We had a 2 bedroom suite that was absolutely beautiful! Wish we had spent more than one night there. Fully equipped kitchen. Bathrooms were gorgeous. Staff was delightful. Wine tasting on premises with super nice staff. Loved it!

Beautiful property and very kind, helpful staff! We loved how close it was to great hiking, shopping and dining options. The parking was great and the room was really cute. There were a couple of housekeeping issues but the staff was very helpful in solving them.

This is a nice resort. A lot bigger than the pictures. As such there were a lot of people. You need a reservation for everything. We were able to secure a table without a reservation in the restaurant in the lobby but after sitting for 10 minutes and deciding on what to we wanted to order, we had not been addressed by anyone. No eye contact, no "I'll be right with you" no nothing! So we left, lodging a complaint with the front desk on our way out. Not the level of service one would expect at a resort. Not a place for us.
