There was a lovely outdoor cafe in the park across from the property that had live entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings. You didn’t even have to leave your balcony to hear the lovely music! The breakfast each morning was delicious with many choices. It was a very enjoyable stay and I hope to return again!

What an amazing hotel stay in Lisbon!
We loved our stay at the Alegria - the location was perfect for walking Lisbon, the room was both beautiful and comfortable - with all of the little details we didn't even know that we would need, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and, caring! The parque outside is an amazing 'add on' to the property with it's fountain and cafe. We would absolutely recommend the Alegria for a short - or long - stay!

I liked everything about this property. The room was very cute, clean, and well-decorated. The staff was friendly. I especially liked the thick towels in the bathroom, and the shower head was wonderful! The hotel is close to everything, and a park across the street sold excellent tarts in the morning, I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Lisbon.

I wanted to like this hotel, as it was recommended by a friend. But the hardwood floor in our room was damaged, and a board was sticking out of the floor, so if you were not careful, you could be injured if you stepped in the wrong place. Also, one of the two shutters in the room was broken. The staff was friendly, and the location was good, but it wasn't quiet until about 10 p.m. Sound proofing of the room as not good at all.

A wonderful place to stay! Beautiful authentic place, the most wonderful staff (Diago was extraordinary), pleasant surroundings, little cafe, a small park for kids to play and a nice fountain for us to enjoy! Walkable to everywhere. Rooms specious, very clean and well kept; Tastefully decorated. The most beautiful views from our corner unit!! We will definitely be coming back!

Very central and well done. This hotel is Instagramsble. The cafe was consistently good, which is helpful as this is a tourist area with fewer great restaurants within a few block radius. There was an unpleasant smell in the room but everything else was really great.

The hotel is okay and clean. Hospitality service is lacking. You will not be greeted by any welcoming remarks or even a smile. I was greeted by a dry “How may I help you?” The elderly gentleman seemed overwhelmed by the check-in process. No “goodby or thank you” when you hand over the keys. Breakfast is a self-serving buffet, but if you wish to order any eggs, you need to seek out the attendants which will be chatting or texting in the bar area. Not the professional hospitality service I am used to considering that they are not a hostel nor charge as such.
