I loved every moment of staying at this hotel! The staff was wonderful and very accommodating to our stay. The morning breakfast was absolutely delicious as well. When we return we will definitely be staying here again!!

Perfectly Located
The oldest 5 star hotel in Lisbon is beautifully maintained and updated without losing its old time charm and nostalgia. We loved the stained glass ceilings, the beautiful chandeliers and overstuffed couches and chairs. The best part was the location: right in the heart of the old town of Lisbon. Everything is close by…but a seven minute walk is almost always uphill! There is only one entrance to the hotel off a narrow alley opposite Starbucks and the train station. On the plaza side of the hotel there is a tiny little Gelato shop tucked in the corner. Lots of fun places to eat and people watch.
Shops surround the first floor of the hotel. The entrance is on the opposite side.

Oh my gosh! Service was phenomenal. I cannot say enough about the service. The hotel itself was comfortable and stylish. Although our room had an odd odor but I think that was related to the age of the building. This hotel is very centrally located, we were able to walk everywhere. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

Consistently amazing - we enjoyed our stay again. The only complaint is next time will request a room on a higher floor as there is a store below that begins playing music with base around 10am making any late sleeping or naps less favorable.

Beautiful hotel that couldn't be in a better location. The rooms are spacious with lovely furnishings and decor. The service was very professional and excellent throughout our stay. There were plenty of options for breakfast and the bar and lounge room are very inviting. We felt it was excellent value for money and will definitely stay at the Avenida Palace again,when we return to Lisbon.
