Both the property and staff are wonderful. It has lots of old world charm but with the advantage that all the modern amenities (e.g. WIFI, plumbing etc) work perfectly. The fresh morning breakfast is outstanding, especially when compared to the usual stuff in US hotels. The location in the Chiado is wonderful. Endless dining and shopping options. Extremely close to metro options. Just a wonderful spot to base your Lisbon visit.

The hotel was fantastic, great location, walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. The room was very spacious, the shower water pressure was very strong. The room was a little dimly lit, but that gave it a romantic feel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was amazing. We would return next time.

This is an outstanding little boutique hotel in the heart of the old town of Lisbon. We highly recommend the property. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, the property is well-maintained and the staff are lovely. Breakfast is a treat in their beautiful breakfast room. The location is excellent and surrounded by shops and restaurants.

The staff at the hotel were very personal and helpful. And the location is ideal for people who enjoy being able to walk to key sites and restaurants. We enjoyed our time at the hotel and would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay so much especially the staff. Daniel went out of his way to be accommodating with everything. The staff was so friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and rooms were so large. Bed comfortable. We did not want to leave!

The breakfast and staff were incredible! The rooms were spacious and provided an antique elegance combined with modern romantic touches that made you feel right at home. The staff stayed open for a late check-in for us at 12 AM and still carried our bags upstairs where we were greeted with the local delicacy Pasteis de Nata. AMAZING!

From booking to check in to departure, we enjoyed this hotel stay and the outstanding communication from sharp and professional Dear Lisbon staff. We received recommendations about historic sites, transportation, restaurants and transfers to/from the airport, all which were perfect for us. The room was large with nice washroom amenities. We enjoyed the free breakfast, too. We highly recommend Dear Lisbon properties and will return!

Catarina and her team do a wonderful job of making this a cross between a home and a hotel. Right by magical Carmo square, a short walk to the Metro, convenient but not touristy.

An excellent stay and we liked the hotel very much. Unfortunately, we had an interior room with no particular view, but it was quiet and that was important too. The downside of this hotel is that it has no bar or restaurant and for older people there is no elevator.

My husband and I had a really comfortable stay at the hotel where we had awesome breakfasts every morning with fresh squeeze orange juices. The staffs were extremely welcoming and accommodating to our needs. It is in a perfect location near the center of everything.

This is a fantastic boutique hotel. It is located in a ~300 year old property. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with AC. The showers are clean with good water pressure and the height of the showerhead worked well for me (I'm 6'4"). The facility still uses metal keys which gives you access to your room and the front entrance. There is also a numerical code you can type into a keypad to get front door access. It felt very secure. All the staff members were friendly and helpful. There is no room service. This is not really a problem as they provide a very nice breakfast and there are many restaurants within walking distance.This includes two restaurants right under the first floor (you do hear their music until 12:00-01:00 but it wasn't particularly obnoxious) The staff did tell our kids (17 and 20 years old) they could not bring takeout in their rooms but let them take it anyway. I did not clarify this policy and it did not seem to be an issue. Location could not have been better and for us the major selling point. Within a 20-30 minute walk you have access to anything you could want. There is even a natural health food grocer around the corner. My wife and I walked all over Lisbon from this location. Uber will come right to the door. I would highly recommend.
