I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On the plus side, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were impeccably clean, which made for a pleasant stay overall. However, the extra bed was incredibly uncomfortable, and after just one night, I woke up with serious back pain. This aspect definitely needs improvement.

stayed three nights at this hotel very nice. The bed was wonderful. We slept very well after being on a long flight. The breakfast were tremendous lots of variety. If we came to Lisbon again, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here. Some people may think that the rooms are been dated, but they’re very clean, and the service staff is excellent

My first night at this property went well. Unfortunately things got extremely worse for me the next day. Upon returning to my room, I realized that someone had stolen liquor I had purchased to return home to Canada. They allowed me to switch rooms because I felt violated, however, when I woke up the next morning, my arms chest and head were recovered in insect bites. I immediately called reception and they had a gentleman come up and he witnessed all my bites. By this time I had had enough and decided to check out out of this hotel. The general manager was kind enough to return three nights stay since it was a prepaid hotel but I did agree to pay for the initial night After showing photographs of the liquor that was stolen, somehow it miraculously appeared. Housekeeping who denied removing anything from the bar fridge now told me that they thought I had checked out of the room, despite my luggage and all my toiletries still in the room. I travel extensively and this by far was the worst experience I have had. At no time did reception or housekeeping apologize for my inconvenience.

Ordered eggs and yogurt for breakfast room service and received the continental breakfast as well. Told that was the only way I could get room service. All or nothing. Charged for both. What I ordered and for the continental breakfast. Front desk would not correct my charge. Very disappointed

My stay at the Holiday Inn Lisbon Continental was excellent. The hotel was clean, the staff were courteous, the room was in very good condition. The room had facilities like mini bar, ironing, hair dryer etc. I was a bit disappointed with the shower in that the holder would not hold the shower head and it kept on moving away towards the wall so had to hold on to the shower head whilst showering. There was a variety of options available for breakfast to cater for everyone. All in all a good experience

During check-in (not early) our room was not ready. We didn't mind waiting but the manager on duty was very unhelpful and quite unfriendly. He also spoke to other staff members with a nasty and condescending tone which I find very tacky. When up in our room, our window was jammed. We went down 3 times to ask about it and he told us every time that he would send someone up to help but never did : ( Otherwise it was a clean and lovely hotel. Customer service has significant room for improvement though.

Great place to stay. The hotel is very clean. Breakfast is excellent. Our room had a king size bed and plenty of space . The hotel is located away from a touristy areas/ 15 min driving. 5 min Walk to a metro station. I would highly recommend this hotel if you do not want to stay in the touristy areas

Our stay was excellent. Irina and Joao at the front desk were fantastic. Very helpful, however, service at the lounge was subpar. Had to wait, no one advised us about the way service was to work.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Best hotel we stayed in during our 3 week trip to Portugal! Beautiful room. Great service from bartender and front desk. Food not very good.
