The management, Patricia refused to deal with an egregious billing error created by the hotel. I was billed 195 euro last spring by expedia for the 8th night of a 8 night booking, which was cancelled in error by the hotel . After rebooking and paying through expedia for the 8th night, the hotel refused to refund the 195euro on the first booking , and took the room cost from my expedia account again .Patricia had all the proof of payments, but never got back to me, and claimed they received no money from Expedia,despite my proving otherwise with Expedia receipt statements. . Obviously Expedia and my Amex paid for the first 7 nights and the 8th night. Patricia was very unhelpful, asking for copies of my bank account, when it was clear that the 8 nights were paid by credit card. To add insult to injury , after my return home, the hotel billed my US MC $247.45! .So I have to fight for the 195euros, as well as a $247.75 US MC charge. To summarize, I paid 3 times for one night , and I spent several hours trying to resolve it at the hotel with a very uncooperative “ manager “ who was unnecessarily adversarial. I paid $4121.10 for 7 nights for Nos Moscada 05, which was very dated, and a tripping hazard. The walls were sloped, so at 5’2”, I was hitting my head. I was charged 3 times, as outlined previously, for the 8th night. A frustrating and stressful end to an otherwise good vacation.
