The hotel is a great location, you are able to park and easily Uber or walk to wherever you need to go without the hassle of trying to find parking in town. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the breakfast was very good, and we were greeted by peacocks at the front door, to the delight of our daughter.

Old estate within walking distance of town. Great staff. Rooms could use a refresh. Shower head was broken and the drapes did not close. Parking on-site. Walkable to town. Need a taxi to get to the castles. Breakfast was made to order. Great view from the breakfast room.

After entering gate to hotel, I knew I made a great decision booking here. Absolutely gorgeous. While some of the finishes may need some updating, this is very minor compared to the beauty of the place and the views. The staff was also incredible.

Magnificent Hotel

Our stay from start to finish in this hotel was magnificent. The grounds are impeccable the rooms are exquisite the food is delicious and the service is remarkable. We had live music one evening with our wine and cheese which was fabulous.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed. I would come back to Sintra for the sole purpose of staying here. The attention to detail is amazing and the rooms are over the top fantastic. We were in room 2 and it’s mindblowingly beautiful. Loved the grounds, the peacocks, and breakfast. The staff is very accommodating and let us keep our car there after checkout so we could tour the sights during the day. Close enough to walk to places to eat, and there are some excellent places close by. Highly recommend

This was the most amazing place we have stayed at. From the beautiful drive fron Lisbon to Sintra, the gates upon arrival, checking in and receiving the cute key. The rooms are unlike anything you will be in, the grounds were magical to wonder around. The breakfast in the morning with the peacocks in the yard. We cant say enough about our stay here.

The Marmoris Palace was one of the most beautiful and eloquent properties that I have ever stayed at. Our 2- bedroom suite was incredible - gorgeous, very spacious, great views, and well appointed. The included breakfast was top notch, as was the Fado entertainment at night. I will definitely be back to stay at this incredible palace!

Very small and quaint, bed-and-breakfast property, easily walkable to the town of Sintra. Hotel is gated and we stayed in room one they’re only 10, which had a private patio. Breakfast is included, but that is the only dining option. We found a few options for fine dining in Sintra. Would definitely stay there again. There is a lot to do in the town.

Disappointed

I had high expectations about this place and paid fairly handsomely for a one night stay. But I was overall disappointed. My wife is disabled and there were no dedicated disabled parking spaces close to reception. It’s a hilly site so I had to drop her near reception and head down the hill to park the car. The room was spacious but the decor was bizarre; felt very 1970s with a strange variegated marble “Greek temple” creation hiding the wash basin. Great shower. Very large bed with decent pillows. But breakfast didn’t start until 8am and we had to leave by 9am to get to the airport. After a bit of persuasion they agreed to 7.45 - because we weren’t having anything cooked. I would have expected an earlier breakfast option for this level of expense. Gardens looked nice but didn’t get a chat explore as weather was ugly.

Gorgeous properties and rooms!!!John went above and beyond at checkin when I arrived exhausted late at night offering a cheese plate and wine as I hone had dinner! I was disappointed that I had not been given a room in the main building as the reviews said every room had an incredible view, but the rooms in the secondary building do not have a view. Also my room had a lovely patio and a full kitchen. At check in I did not pick up the fact that there was a full kitchen bc it is locked behind a wall!! This would be perfect for a group of friends or family. Also first night I froze bc I did not know how to work the heat remote . All that being said the property , and view from the breakfast room are stunning. I would definitely like to stay here again but would like to be in the main building.

Incredible property Elegant rooms with marble bathrooms. Beautiful furniture and comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful arranging reservations and transportation. Would stay again in an instant!
