The best thing was the sound proofing: you could not hear the trains that depart from the same building, and the metro was a small vibration, sorry quiet under the building. That made getting around Lisbon super convenient. It's only a few minutes walk to the Alfama neighborhood, and a twenty minute walk to the main tourist/doing area downtown. We only stayed one night, so did not try the restaurant.

Excellent stay. Great staff. I’m glad we selected this hotel instead of staying at an Airbnb or any other location. Centrally located to everything, and easy to navigate to and from. Select the breakfast option!!! It’s definitely worth it. Get up early, grab breakfast and hit the road. The rooms with Balcony is an added plus for those who require the open air at nights or when they wake up. From desk staff were superb, especially Joao and the bellman.

Conveniently Located With Lots of Cool History!
We chose The Editory Riverside Hotel for both our arrival in Lisbon and after we returned from a few days in The Algarve region. The staff is friendly and accomodating! The hotel has a cool history and is right across from the river. A short walk to the Alfama and Baixa historical areas. Lots of great cafes directly behind the hotel too!

Cute and charming former train station converted into a hotel with historic accents throughout but very modern facilities. This is very conveniently located by the train station and metro station and right by the river where the cruise ships dock. Not alot to do or see immediately around the property but not far from the attractions either on foot or train.

Being above St. Apolónia station like the editory is is great for metro access and trains. It’s also on the flat part of the city, near the River which is here at for access. For cruise ship passengers this spot is also ideal being walkable to the port.

The Editory personnel is fabulous! They are knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. Obrigado! The (City of Lisbon) construction around the hotel is getting worse. I knew about the ongoing project at the time of booking. However, it is now so bad that access to the hotel is rather restricted. The construction is also a detriment for the development of good dining establishments. It is not the fault of the hotel, however. It is impossible to beat the proximity of the hotel to the cruise port (max, 10 minute walk). Also, the hotel being at a bus, rail and subway hub cannot be beat. Breakfast is great and the dinner options have improved. This stay was not my first and I would stay there again.

Great hotel! Loved that it shares the same building structure as the train station. Very convenient to take train back and forth from airport. No need for taxi, especially since the city can get very congested with traffic. Take the scooter, it's fun! Hotel was very nice, comfortable beds, air-conditioning and very helpful staff.

This hotel is right above the train station. Supper easy to take the train from airport to hotel!!!! Very nice. We opted for the smallest room available with no view and facing the train station. Little noisy if you open the windows but not bad. Everything in the room was perfect. Well though out accommodations and what I like to call "American air conditioner". Staff very nice and helpful with directions and food recommendations. Easy to Uber a scooter to center of town. Highly recommend this hotel.
