I didn't realize that it would be so many pets at the hotel. Everyone is not dog friendly but we have choices. Bathroom upgrades are needed as well as new lamps.

The only problem is leaving the property and returning. If you, like me, have a problem walking, and you drive to a nearby restaurant, it's a long drive back. I don't blame the hotel, I blame the idiot that designed the area traffic pattern.

The things I look for in an overnight stay are there. Hot strong shower, comfortable bed, quiet room, good value. The A/C worked well but is a bit noisy. There are dining options nearby and the included breakfast is ok. This is our go-to location on our occasional road trips that have stopovers in Little Rock.

This deposit nonsense needs to stop
I’ve stayed here many times and have never been asked to pay $100 deposit before. It was extremely inconvenient as I’d already paid for the room and there was zero way I’d put a deposit on my debit to be held for 10 days before I’d see it, so I had to interrupt my check in to go to an ATM TO GET MONEY. I’d have just went to another hotel if I was aware of this nonsense. Also the front desk girl was not friendly at ALL and acted like she’d rather be anywhere but doing her job. The hotel itself is nice and clean and quiet, however I won’t be returning.

We couldn’t wait to get out of there. First we were not expecting a $100 deposit when we checked in. We had to switch rooms do to the smell in the first room. The room was dirty, there was an actual handprint on the wall. The toilet was dirty. The whole room was gross. Our kids cried and begged to go somewhere else. We were afraid to stay and even try the breakfast. We would not recommend.

We came into to the area the night before my daughter's surgery since the hotel was less than 2 miles from the hospital and we had to be there at 5 a.m. So that was great. However, the room smelled like pets. I am aware that this is a pet friendly hotel but the scent shouldn't be the first thing I encountered. After spraying the room down with Lysol and going out to buy some carpet fresh, we had a decent night. That was until the power went out at 4:00 a.m. and there was no backup generator. I would like to point out that the staff extended breakfast hours and granted me a late checkout. I was able to stay there until my daughter was out of surgery instead of having to wait in the cold hospital. Honestly if it wasn't for the smell, I would have given all high marks.
