Great hotel for seeing the sights
Nice friendly and helpful staff. Clean and good room. Very quiet - unfortunately the restaurant was too quiet although the fish pie on the night we dined in was excellent. Great position and will definitely stay again when I come next year with my husband.

"Comfort and Convenience: Novotel Liverpool
During my recent stay at the Novotel, I experienced a wonderfully tranquil environment. The staff were both accommodating and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout my visit. My room was meticulously clean and comfortable, and I thoroughly enjoyed utilizing the gym facilities. Additionally, the hotel's location proved ideal for shopping and exploring the vibrant city of Liverpool. I look forward to returning on my next visit to the area.

Great central location. Good pool and breakfast selection. Not pleased about the lack of housekeeping as we were staying for 2 nights. We raised this at reception but NO action was taken. Also, service at reception is extremely slow. We checked in online but it still takes ages when you get there.

This hotel was in a great location with a car park right next door, everything is in walking distance . The room was clean and had plenty of storage space. The pool was nice but would advise booking before you stay as the only time slot available was 5pm when we got there which wasn’t an ideal time with kids.

Fast check in. Smart looking hotel. Very convenient for all of Liverpool centre. We didn’t use the swimming pool or the restaurant. Our room number was 420. BEWARE. If your room is facing the Q Park carpark, you can look forward to a Home Bargains delivery truck pulling up beneath the hotel from around 0630 every day. Then it’s nothing but crash bang crash. It is so loud and that’s with the window closed too. This was very disappointing and would certainly stop me staying here again

We discovered this hotel 5 years ago and absolutely loved it! We've stayed since then as the location is perfect and the pool is great. This was our third visit and it was very disappointing. Not one bit of maintenance or upkeep has been done since we stayed in 2019 and our bathroom was disgusting. Mouldy and the shower screen leaked. The air con unit was not ones of the digital ones and the first night we nearly boiled alive. The next night we opened the window the tiny fraction we're allowed to and had it on the temperature we were told to by the receptionist and at least got some sleep. Unfortunately our room wasn't serviced despite me telling Reception this at 3.30 and them saying they would tell Housekeeping. When we returned at 10pm, it still hadn't been done and I had to go down to Reception to tell them as no one was answering the phone (there were two of them there in the back room). I was brought clean towels and more tea and milk and when the Receptionist brought them up I told him about the air con unit and showed him the bathroom. He apologised and said he could see about moving us to a different room but it was late and we leaving in the morning so it wasn't worth it. It would have been nice to have been offered something for the issues we had.

Fine for short stay.
All ok for a 1 night stay. In general the hotel could do with abit of an update. My room ( 815 ) had plaster peeled off the inside window frame and there were stains on the carpet in the bedroom and grout on the floor in the toilet. Thecrestvof the room and facilities was clean. However, the pool and sauna area was adequate. Breakfast is sufficient. Much appreciated the later check out time compared with other hotels.
