Great hotel easy assessable from autostrada. Great parking, nice large rooms & bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Breakfast typical Italian breakfast with something for everyone.

We stayed here twice. The first time was good. We had room 310. The second time was not so good. We got room 411. There were small gnats everywhere on the ceiling coming from behind the wall a paper. The 4th floor hallway was visibly in bad condition. We were moved to the 8th floor which was basic and visibly needed to be painted. Seems the 3rd floor was the best floor. Breakfast is basic. The only hot items are bacon and eggs. There isn’t much in the area. Staff will call taxis and restaurants for you.

Hotel Max is out of the convenience of the city area. It’s in an industrial area that had grafetti all over the parking lot area. Didn’t feel safe staying in this hotel. Drove through the town and couldn’t find a place to park to see port area or have lunch. Left the area, didn’t even try to stay and drive to Florence.

The hotel is behind Livorno train station it could be little noisy The hotel not in shop area it’s kind of isolated better to have your own transportation . There is big shopping center close by open morning till late 8pm

Bed was unacceptablely very poor quality and uncomfortable. Pillows were also very poor quality- not much of head support. Reception staff had very indifferent attitude.Not a welcoming place. Door stoppers are placed at wrong places- causing walking hazard in the room and bathroom. This should not be allowed as a safety issue. No kettle or safety clocker in the room.

Convenient to train station.
This was a great one night stay close to Livorno Centrale. A very good restaurant off of the lobby also. If walking from the train stations, it is about 15 minutes, but do not follow "pin" locater on Google maps, as it is inaccurate. Follow google MAP to get there.
