The space
Castello del Boccale stands imposingly on the cliff of the Livorno coast, in the stretch of coast called "Boccale" or "Cala dei Pirati". How to Reach Castello Boccale
From Major Airports:
Pisa Airport (Galileo Galilei):
By Car:

Exit the airport and follow the signs for the A12/E80 motorway towards Livorno.
Take the Livorno exit and follow the signs for SS1 Via Aurelia towards Antignano.
Continue on Via del Littorale until you reach number 238. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes.

By Public Transport:

Take the Pisamover from the airport to Pisa Centrale train station.
From there, take a train to Livorno Centrale (about 15-20 minutes).
Once you arrive at Livorno station, follow the instructions below to reach the castle.

Florence Airport (Amerigo Vespucci):
By Car:

Exit the airport and take the A11 motorway towards Pisa/Livorno.
Continue on the A11 until you reach the A12/E80 motorway towards Livorno.
Take the Livorno exit and follow the signs for SS1 Via Aurelia towards Antignano.
Continue on Via del Littorale until you reach number 238. The journey takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

By Public Transport:

Take the T2 tramway from the airport to Florence Santa Maria Novella train station.
From there, take a train to Livorno Centrale (about 1 hour and 20 minutes).
Once you arrive at Livorno station, follow the instructions below to reach the castle.

From Livorno Centrale Train Station:
By Car:

Exit the station and follow the signs for the city center.
Take the SS1 Via Aurelia towards Antignano.
Continue on Via del Littorale until you reach number 238. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes.

By Public Transport:

Outside the station, take the local bus line 1 or 2 towards Antignano.
Get off at the nearest stop to Via del Littorale and walk to number 238. The bus journey takes about 30-40 minutes.
