The positives are that the hotel was very conveniently located on the North Promenade of Llandudno.
The reception staff were very helpful and the staff at breakfast weren't bad either. Not so positive about the housekeeping staff I'm afraid. They really did do a bare minimum. The cooked Welsh Breakfast was very good, but at times the self serve aspect of the tea/coffee/toast and cereal part of breakfast got chaotic unfortunately.
The parking (albeit at an additional £10.00 per night) was useful, but it was cramped and tested driving and parking skills at times.
My only real gripes are we were on the third floor of a steep 50 step climb to our room with no lift. I don't remember seeing that we were at the top of the building when we booked. The other real complaint was our room (Red Keyfob 11) didn't have a window! Where you would expect a window there was a secure fire exit door! Despite management putting an electric fan in the room it would be very uncomfortable during a very warm spell I'm afraid.
My overall impression was that the place was trying hard, but perhaps not hard enough. Our Room 11 really shouldn't be a guest room and my advice would avoid this room if offered it.
