Chalet Cadieux is on the Ottawa River and offers amazing views & amazing sunrises. Great shallow entry & deep waters, great for swimming and fishing. Situated in a forest of ceader trees, animals like deer and birds also call it home. Enjoy free use of canoes kayaks pedalboats beach volleyball and more. Enjoy your own private hot tub. Winter: we have excellent ice fishing and snowshoeing from our place and the QC skidoo trail is also accessible. We welcome everyone from any lifestyle.

Expect top comfort of some of the nicest cottages/chalets at a more reasonable price. Our space is all about the outside. a huge double deck and a great waterfront along with complimentary use of canoes, kayaks, SUPs and pedal boats availlable to make your stay even better. The Ottawa River is great for fishing with your QC and ON liscences.
Winter: We provide a mix of 10 pairs of snowshoes for the whole family. Possible to rent ice fishing hut with wood and auger. Great snowshoe trails onsite and acces to the provincial QC skiddo trails from our property. Fall waterfowl hunting is great from our place. By boat or on foot.

We live on site in another home 200m away. We can be as availlable as our guests would like and help with hiking trails and places to visit in our beautifull region of the Pontiac and our town of Ile-Du-Grand-Calumet. We are amazing hosts to amazing guests :) Feel free to let us know if you require more privacy and feel free to join us or invite us for great conversations and drinks :)

Whitewater rafting with Horizonx.ca is the activity to do in the summer time for the whole family. We are conviniently located near attractions like Chutes Coulonge and all the major towns in our area. Visit tourisme-pontiac.com for more on our great region. Cadieux road was part of an old fur trading portage route going back to 17th century.

We are situated close to the PPJ cyclopath and skidoo/atv trails. Our town is verry safe and a great place for mountain biking and dirt biking. We are also situated at one end of a 100 km of navigable waterway on the Ottawa River so boating and seadooing is awesome. There are a few fast EV chargers withing 20-30 min drive from our place. We do have a 11.5 kw charger level 2 on site going rate is 10 cents kw/h.

Dogs are permited but must be declared and accepted by us before booking.
Rafting is possible for your group with advance notice with HorizonX.

Winter: Heated fishing hut and equipment availlable for rent.
Snowshoes are provided.

Airbnb now asks that we implement inclusive praticies. Truthfully we never tought we had to as we always welcomed everyone both at home and in our chalets. We offer a safe place for all, and everyone is welcome
We are proud to share our paradise with you. And we are asking that you keep it pristine like you will receive it. No smoking inside at all times. Pets are allowed but must be confirmed with us prior to booking. Pets should never be on our furniture or in our beds. They must never be left alone unless in a crate. Pets should not create more work for our cleaning team (i.e hair shedding etc needs to be picked up) We are also very ecologically responsible. You must help us compost, recycle as much as possible and produce very little garbage. After all this is for our future. Have fun, Enjoy all the amenities :) please do advise us if you are bringing more people than your original reservation. our place sleeps a maximum of 21 people in shared accommodations but the airbnb booking is for 16 people. extra guest must be approved before booking and an extra charge will apply.

We had a large bachelor party at Martin's and it was perfect. The pictures do not do this place justice. It's very spacious, clean, and we had no problems with food storage and cooking. The beach and waterfront are amazing!! Martin's communication with me was great, we had everything we needed. My friends and I will be talking about this weekend for a long time and I credit this to how exceptional Martin's place is. Thank you!
