The property is very nice & close to shopping & restaurants. My only complaint is that they keep a live bird in a small cage in the lobby. I felt very sorry for the bird anytime I walked through the lobby. I felt that was very out of touch with how living creatures should be treated.

The hotel was clean, quiet and in a good location for our needs. The staff is fabulous. We felt very welcomed by everyone we came in contact with from the moment we arrived. The area is very walkable. Plenty of good food options within a few miles.

We stayed here when we were in town for a concert at Red Rocks-so conveniently located near Union Station. Staff was great, beds were so comfortable -would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Hotel at the Perfect spot
Beautiful historic hotel in the most perfect spot. You walk out and Union Station is RIGHT THERE. Great hotel. Attached to the Urban Farmer which was DELICIOUS. Pricy but hey, we always expect to pay a little more when we’re going out. There are so many spots to walk to at this location. 16th St is literally a block away.

Excellent stay. Make sure to eat all your food at the restaurant you eat at in the city. Rooms don’t have a refrigerator but that is a non issue for us. Great place and will stay again.

Glass in hotel paper thin. Noise at night from street kept us up. Forgot to service room when we asked as were told to request every day. No safety box. Room clean, nice hotel & cute breakfast. Manager & staff in general were very helpful but mostly hotel needs to remodel glass & humidify rooms. Old historical building. Location is good but unfortunately downtown a lot of homeless. City needs to help. Not hotels fault. Convenient location lots of great restaurants snd coffee shops next door!

I was in awe as soon as we pulled up. Met by the kindest bellhop, who led us up to our room making the whole process seamless. It is a very old hotel in tiptop pristine condition. You feel as though you stepped back in time. Alot of details go into this winner of a hotel, noting is missed. Everyone on the staff is on top of their game. Should I find myself in Denver, I will choose the Oxford Hotel

Not what I would call top class
Questionable cleanliness given one of the drawers contained previous guest's "stash". I got no apology for this from the staff who - apart from the doormen and bar staff 8n the Cruise Room - were pretty unfriendly. The amenities were poor considering the charges made as an extra. Which they added 50% on top for no apparent reason.

I’ve stayed at the Oxford many times before but I’m afraid this time may be my last. The value for money just isn’t there. The shower in my room had very low pressure & produced only a light sprinkle. The continental breakfast options are minimal and in my last morning they had run out of supplies to maintain their basic offering… and when I asked if there any more bagel chips I was curtly told there were none left (only an hour after breakfast started). When I checked out, the man at the front desk didn’t even tell me my balance before charging my card.,.. and didn’t even bother to ask how my stay was, which is probably why I feel the need to write this long negative review.

Loved The Oxford
Oxford is conveniently located near Union Station. Loved the Cruise Bar- amazingly creative drinks, great music and good snacks. Breakfast was surprisingly good this morning too
