Make sure you'll get a room to the patio. Hotel is located at a busy mainstreet so it gets very noisy when you open the windows, because there's no AC. Staff is there, but not really interested. Doing their job. Not more. Disappointing. Cleanliness of rooms could be better: mold at showerhead and dust where you don't want to see it. Breakfast was good though. At check-out no staff available.

We stayed for our last day of our two weeks trip. Drive in past 9:30pm. Front desk person was very helpful and friendly. Stuff found us parking space and a traditional restaurant in old town that offer German food and good wine not too far from the hotel. It was perfect for us. Room we stayed was very clean and comfortable. Hotel offered nice breakfast. We found stuff are very friendly and welcoming. We ended Our trip very Nicely.

Staff very welcoming to us as tourists. My German is very limited and all staff were kind enough to speak English to ensure we understood what was asked or answer questions we had. A must stay if ever you are in Lohr am. Maine

Wonderful Stay in Lohr!
We had a great stay at the Best Western in Lohr! I was with my family and we had 5 people with 2 rooms. The rooms were very spacious, and there was plenty of room for a roll-away bed in the 3 person room. Only thing to "complain" about was that there was no AC in a nicely renovated hotel. Totally get that most hotels in Germany don't have AC (at least the ones we stayed in), but it would have been nice. They did place a fan in the room to make it more comfortable. The windows also opened which was nice at night (except for the occasional bug that would fly into the room). Lovely hotel, lovely breakfast, lovely staff. Definitely worth the stop.

Very good hotel. Excellent breakfast.
Very pleasant hotel, despite the roadworks going on outside. Town is a short stroll away. Free wi-fi very good, except had to enter the code every few hours. No A/C, which, during the hot days is a bit warm - but then country hotels are often like this. At least a fan was already provided.

Das Hotel Achat ist ein gutes Hotel in bester Lage. Man ist zu Fuß in 2 Minuten am Mainufer und in 3 Minuten in der kleinen Innenstadt.

Das Zimmer war im großen und ganzen in Ordnung. Vordergründig sauber, in den Ecken eher etwas verstaubt… An was das Hotel aber dringend arbeiten müsste, ist der Satelliten-Empfang ihrer Fernsehprogramme. Da ging ja gar nix - das waren nur große würfelartige Pixel - und nichts zu erkennen. Zumindest bei den Privatsender. Dafür hätte ich am liebsten eine Preisminderung verlangt! …so kann man einen TV-Empfang nicht im Internet bewerben, wie das vom Hotel getan wird… oder steigt doch einfach auf eine sichere Methode um. Wie ich da war, gab es gerade eine Baustelle vor dem Eingang. Ich weiß, da kann das Hotel nichts dazu - aber vielleicht hätte man darauf achten können, dass man nur Zimmer nach hinten raus vermietet…
