Bloomsbury is a wonderful area of London. Very neighborhood y. The Bedford Hotel is ideally located, close to Russell Square Tube and lots of restaurants fancy and not.
My room was quiet but overlooked the busy street which was fun to watch. I had a wonder big tub with plenty of hot water. The room was cleaned everyday and all the staff I encountered were friendly and greeted me warmly.
Stayed a couple of times now and this a great hotel in central London.

We stayed for one night for a theatre trip.
I did book standard room but it was very very basic.
No information about the hotel in the room.
The room was also very hot even with the windows open.
The dining area was lovely and the breakfast nice.
Friendly staff but not very knowledgeable.
I do feel it was over priced for what it was.
I probably wouldn’t stay again.
Our second visit to The Bedford Hotel. The hotel in general and the room was clean and comfortable the staff were helpful and friendly. Well done to you all.
I come from the United States. First, there was no air condición in the room, no microwave, no mini refrigerator four, no ice machine, and this room was costly. I am no happy at all with with reservations
You get what you pay for - my room was quite small with a single (one twin) bed. This is not a complaint, it was exactly what I needed. Location is good - close to Euston station and to tube stations on both the Elizabeth and Jubilee lines (both of which go to Heathrow). There is a little green space around and a not-too-distant walk (20 minutes) to Trafalgar Square, St. James Park, and Buckingham Palace. Tower Bridge and the Thames is somewhat further. Lots of places to eat nearby because it's close to the West End theatres.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The staff were wonderful and helpful.
My only complaint is that there was no Air Con in the bedroom and it was sweltering hot.
Hotel is old. There is no air flow and the room was very stuffy and muggy. Room didn’t feel clean, found various hairs everywhere. Somewhat central. Bed was comfortable, sheets and pillows were not. Only one towel provided for 2 people. Nowhere to hang hand towel. Toilet paper dispenser broke right away. Garbage can fell over every time you tried to open it. Outside noise was loud which proved annoying given the need to have a window open 24/7. Overall a very average 3 star hotel, possibly even 2. Not worth the money.
What a wonderful hotel. Found it by accident as needed somewhere between Euston and Sadlers Wells Theatre. Soooo glad I did. Staff superb, food excellent, beds really comfortable, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely stay again. Thanks to all the staff who made mine and my Mums stay so memorable
