Everything was good, except the heat in the room was a bit too hot. It woke me up at nights as the comforter was thick and it didn't have a thinner sheet.

Great location, reasonably priced
I had a lovely stay at the Bedford. I requested a quiet room (having read other reviews), and was given a room on the back of the hotel, overlooking the garden. I slept really well. Room was quite comfortable, very clean, staff was lovely, and the location, just down from Russel Square, was great. They’ll also allow you to drop your luggage if you arrive early.

Great location, enjoyed garden view from comfortable room. Good breakfast. Walls very thin, noise from adjoining room and shower temperature erratic, should be controlled to avoid scalding.

Central location so walkable to museums, most theatres, and many restaurants. Pleasant place to stay. Has a green “vibe”. My room overlooked busy Southampton Row. Was quiet in autumn with windows closed. No idea if the windows do open or what it’s like in summer. Nice breakfast buffet available. Also other restaurant services.

Bedford Hotel was great!
Great value for a business trip. Convenient location. Booked a room with a small bed and it was comfortable. I liked the desk and internet service was decently fast. Very nice staff, no problems from other guests. I did not book the breakfast with my stay and there were plenty of options for that on the block or close by. Easy to get to tube/bus. Will definitely book there again.

I totally loved the nature theme! Wished I could have seen the photos on the other floors. Minor complaint is I had to ask at desk for coffee and tea packets - they were not kept replenished. Decaf coffee is not coffee!! And the volume control on TV was too extreme - it made watching anything pointless. At least put in closed captioning...

London is a big, noisy city, and a quiet room and location are very important. My garden view room was perfect, comfortable, quiet , overlooking a large garden. Bus stop on the same block and Holborn tube stop a short walk away. My third stay in Russell square, and the Bedford beats the more expensive choices.

Bloomsbury is a wonderful area of London. Very neighborhood y. The Bedford Hotel is ideally located, close to Russell Square Tube and lots of restaurants fancy and not. My room was quiet but overlooked the busy street which was fun to watch. I had a wonder big tub with plenty of hot water. The room was cleaned everyday and all the staff I encountered were friendly and greeted me warmly.
